Good thing the best part of the expansion is free (the game breaking cp changes that they never tested properly).

But hey at least they killed every fun oddball build out their to make sure no one was enjoying the game too much.

Playing Morrowind for almost a week now. Playing without rush, trying to prolong a pleasure, you know, because quests are cool. By all means a great PvE expansion. A few minor bugs, yes, but they'll be fixed. Didn't tried PvP stuff though.
It eludes me why CP and other gameplay changes break something. I found them quite refreshing. Now I need to change my build, adapt it. Meta must keep changing from time to time. DotA 2 is a good example of such "drastic" system of ongoing "balancing". Evolve, damn you!

Yeah, I mean basically people don't all have the same reasons for wanting to play, or even enjoying, the same content as one another. Personally, I'm stoked to have some more quest content and exploration, so I am enjoying Morrowind.

I'm not super happy about the dungeon finder still being broken and being worse than it was before, but even though it is frustrating, I'm not going to have any sleepless nights over it. I know some people wanted Morrowind just for Battlegrounds (and I do sympathise that it is not working as you wanted, I very much hope it gets fixed soon, and the other longstanding dungeon finder bugs too!), but I wanted Morrowind for Morrowind - and although this may not be what you want to hear, that bit that I am most interested in seems to work fine.

And I do just have to say that I like this post very much. BUT have you ever seen the Mona Lisa IRL? It's actually *really small*. A lot smaller than you expect. So... hmmm... possibly not the best example But I do hear you. Pong never had any of these issues *insert grumble about back in the day and sitting on the porch yelling at kids and brandishing my walking stick*

I am really enjoying the expansion glad I got the pre-order coz I am having fun. Been at it since Monday now and only half way through the map, all the missions are quite long.

Unsure why someone, especially someone who claims to be a tank for trials, is stating they are happy they did not buy the expansion.

It seems to be calling out for attention since you are not able to join your friends in the action of tanking the new trial. No other reason I can see for creating this thread other than for attention.

That is my biggest problem with the changes; pigeon holed into metas. I had at least four or five sets that worked on my stamblade, but now I can barely make one of them work and no new sets give any viable options. Still testing though so maybe I'll find a second set.

Well I preordered the basic version when it was announced. I didn't even step on Vvardenfel since i've spent the first day just downloading the game and respeccing on my 4 main characters and the next 4 just training some skills and farming the gear for my next projects. I did VCoS HM and the last part of VHRC on my tank and they didn't seem harder than before. Generally I wait a bit when non-instanced content is released because I don't really enjoy doing a public dungeon and waiting hours to get a shot on a boss for the achievement because there are hundreds of players there doing the same. And that's just one example. I let the herd dissipate and the hype fizzle out.

Business models mature. Not getting into the early MMOs, will settle for WoW. When WoW came out the MMO business was fairly undeveloped.

It was undeveloped not only as a business model but what they offered players to begin with.

I do find it entertaining how some complain about Zos business when they seem to be fine with the way their employer does business merely because their employer puts food on their table, roof over their heads and allows them to be able to buy and play this game. Or at least their parents employer does all this in some cases.

My only complaint so far is that I keep thinking the main town is called Wardenfall instead of VVardenfall. This must be changed IMMEDIATELY. In reality, I'm really enjoying the expansion.

Gotta love melodramatic responses when the person making the comment knows nothing about it other than reading posts in the forums. OP, just a reality check, a great many in the forums flame at anything.

But who cares, enjoy not tanking the new trial. Another reality check, others are getting cemented into tanking roles with various groups so when you actually do buy the expansion you just might have a tougher time than already getting into a group to tank it.
