My Stamina NB (lvl 35) can do around 3k-4k dps using all of the abilities in his both the bars.
Along with that I need to monitor about DoT/HoT from Refreshing Path, Bleeds from Blood Craze, dodge/block/interrupt/shake out of immobilize etc

My Templar (< lvl 30) does around 6k-15k dps using just this bar (no back bar).

I know its my issue..purely L2P issue and NB and Templars are pretty much balanced....yeah I know

Maybe stay on one bar and focus on hitting the mob, will do more DPS :-D

Even a templar pretending to be a NB would put out more deeps than that.

First part of playing night blade, is not playing nightblade.

But real talk just gotta work on your rotation, just come to terms with the fact your gonna be weaker and do a lot less dps than just about every other class.

Yeah I found NB very undewhelming coming from DK and Sorc... I can imagine it's good for PVP gank, but in PVE it's absolute monkey butt. The assassinate skill doesn't even 1 ht kill basic enemies... class has no real DPS that's of any use without coming from a weapon... I made the poor choice of going with bow... the aoe on bows is trash. My NB is my least favourite - but I admit, maybe I'm just not doing it right.

Probably the only good thing I can say about my NB is that it can sustain it's health better than my DK or Sorc (since my DK is magic, it's not a tank or health build)

They're doing pretty well in Morrowind from what I hear. Not Sorc levels but they've moved on up quite a bit.

Interesting builds OP, are you doing weaves with these (where you mix in light attacks) or just using skills as per?

Where are surprise attack (single target spammable, major fracture and bleed DoT) and power extraction (AoE and major brutality)? Also you lack poison injection (single target DoT) and rearming trap (single target DoT and minor force. On NB DoTs are the biggest part of your DPS. Do you also weave light and heavy attacks with your skills? There's your missing DPS.

I was thinking the same thing but then he said he was lvl 35 not cp 35. So most of what you listed he is still building up to.

If you're reaching 3-4k DPS, you forgot to assign buttons for your abilities.

Also, spamming Mark Target, Cloak or Refreshing Path as a stamina build is not a proper rotation. Just in case.

But for real, stamina NBs are pulling some of the highest self-buffed parses ingame.

@Asardes, i dont think OP is after endgame rotation dps. He compare 2 lowlvls and their significant difference in power output. The truth that @ZOS_BrianWheeler and team wont aknowledge is that nbs particual stamina nbs are dead last when it comes to any sustained dps which affect players both in the early stages and late stages of their playingexperience. Hang in there though OP, stam nbs make great crafters and maneuverbots in pvp and u might succeful now and then with some pug ganks now that our ONLY strength burst been nerfed in morrowind. Stam nbs is the perfect example how to totally kill a class

You are using Refeshing Path in a stamina build.

You might get more DPS by spamming surprise attack.

Surprise attack is unlocked very early on. It's the main NB spammable. The fact that's missing severely hampers DPS. Of the skills I mentioned only poison injection and trap need the skill lines to be leveled further.

And to be honest, injection and trap are very good dps but they become very good with some CP and a solid rotation.

The basic problem is, I believe, we do not know the weapon levels/qualities.

30ish level characters should be doing at least 10K dps by spamming 2 abilities in an ideal world. They are buffed so much they are actually more powerful than lower CP characters. The only explanation I cna think of is the gear. If you outlevel your gear or if your gear is not compatible with the type fo character you are (mag/stam) there might be holes in which you can bury yourself...

Well the first mistake you made is that you didn´t roll a sorc...

I leveled both stamNB and magTemplar and I saw no real damage difference between them though there was for sure a big difference in survival. But this is a more general difference between stamina and magicka. There's no reliable stamina heal besides vigor. That'd theoretically available if you hit the non-vet campaign as soon as you hit level 10-15. With a magicka class you can basically use 3 skills and heavy attacks to solo even world bosses at low level: a shield, a ground DoT, a major sorcery skill and then heavy lightning attacks.
