This was asked for many times before. ZOS simply doesn't care about this :D They never even made a statement as far as I know.

Add wands. Then, we can dual wield them, or use Wand/Shield (or orb, or some form of magic force shield like the Ward spells from Skyrim). The wands could still be elemental based: Fire, Shock, Frost, and the abilities similar to the staff lines. This would allow for magicka builds to use sets like stamina builds do, and give more variety in builds, I think.

Does anyone have the math on this 2 hand bonus that some claim is equal to the power of a 5 slot bonus?
Does it apply to the weapon damage stat, light/heavy attacks, the weapon skills from the skill trees, the passives,
or some combination of those things? Is it something different from all of that?
Was it implemented to compensate for the lack of a 5 slot bonus or did the devs just think 2 handers should be more powerful, and increase them for that reason? Are light/heavy attacks slower on 2 handers as well or same speed?
Curious as to what this all really entails.

    Thanks!!

They give the same bonuses as duel wielding, except they only count as one piece of a set. If you have two sharpened weapons you will get the same penetration as a single two handed weapon. same weapon and spell dmg adding up the two single weapons or a a single two handed weapon.

Staff users should get a spell book or something that can go in the off hand to make up for a set piece, two handed sword, axe and mace could get a charm or something. It would make those build comparable with people that get that added bonus, unless they are using a novilty weapon like vMA or Masters.

We had a poll in german forum.. 75% were agree with that..only 25% found arguments against..
but the Damage of 2H weapons need a little nerf then..

I totally would like to have 2x 5er Setbonis and a monsterset with 2H weapons.. main argument should be, that a long time were dual wield the best choose for magicka player?? Wtf, you take Stamina weapons to make best magicka DPS??! B)

I would like to try a ice staff tank warden but having 2nd handed staves count as only 1 item for item sets makes this not practical. I would like to see 2hd weapons count as two items for set count purposes.
