So why wasn't Silks of the Sun HP bonus changed to spell crit, like the rest of the other sets?

Netches touch etc. were changed from having their HP bonus to spell critical. So how come Silks of the Sun wasn't changed?
Difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 9 years. 6 paid expansions. 25 DLCs. 41 game changing updates including A Realm Reborn-tier overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver&Gold as a "you think you do but you don't"-tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the game.

Because it'd make it a better version of BSW since BSW got nerfed to really only benefit DK's, who would find Silks of the sun better anyway now.

They just need to take BSW and rework what it actually does, not something that just adds the generic +Spell Dam. Then give Silks the spell crit touch.

Because they chose to remove health from Ysgramors instead even though Cold has been relegated to a tank element. They need to swap the two. Health on ysgramor and crit on sun.

Well It's called burning spellweave so maybe the 5th piece make it so all your spells do flame damage instead of other elements/magic damage?

    Really it didn't get changed?

Maybe just an oversight but personally I feel it should be so they're all kept in line with one another.

BSW has the benefit of generic spell damage (and more of it) where's Sun has only Fire Damage. Makes more sense for a DK but overall should help spread out from all classes using identical sets.

Before Morrowind patch I was sceptical to this as well. Now that I´ve played with the Sun-set a few Days I love the HP bonus. Wouldn´t change it for anything. BSW is still better when it comes do pure dps but you loose some survivability.

More dmg go BSW but you´ll lose survivability.
Better surviveability go Sun, but you´ll lose some dps.

A fair trade if you ask me.

Atm I have BSW with the my chest piece of my other set enchanted with health.

I am sure for dungeons and trails where you have a healer its fine but for doing things like soloing world bosses that hp bonus is really good.

For dungeons and trails you can run witch mothers brew when you have a hp bonus.

Actually more dps is sun on dk. Like 50-100 less damage but 00% uptime resulting in more streamlined dps.

    Ok here is my version:
    1. Sun is usually used by mDK
    2. mDK usually have problems with sustain
    3. So they usually uses Witchmother's Potent Brew isntead of HP-Magicka food
    4. So they have somewhat low HP
    5. So they need HP buff

    :):):)

Several people brought this up before go live, and it was ignored. My guess is they didnt see it or didnt intend it, either way..... dont hold your breathe

I suspect it was intended for a couple reasons:

    1) DK's do have to play in melee range, making the extra survivability from +health more desirable over a small % of crit.

    2) Since DK's benefit from this set far more than other classes benefit from the other +damage type sets, it was probably determined that this set didn't need a DPS buff like the others.

Think it is in a good spot even though a change to spell crit would have been reasonable. But what if they would change it to a magicka recovery buff. Guess i would like that :)
