After satisfying the nostalgia of the people, can we finally move on to new regions?

When i first heard about eso, i hoped to explore the rest of tamriel instead of waiting 30 years for bethesda to make enough single player games to cover the rest,
but the last two added areas were already known to us with the gold coast and morrowind.

I would prefer to visit the years ago mentioned murkmire or the daedric realm of mephala called spiral skein instead of getting a remade of skyrim or sheogorath or hermaeus moras next year.
Before people go with pitch forks at me, im not bashing zos for the current content which is very good, i just don't want that they only ride the nostalgia train.

You mean, like, Craglorn? Or Orsinium?
Or we're you referring more to, like, the other 60% of the zones which have never been featured in an Elder Scrolls game?

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for new content, but don't pretend like just because this one expansion (and one of half a dozens DLCs) has us revisiting old territory that ZOS has never given us anything new. -Most- of this game is paths un-tread.

I'll vote for Elsweyr as the next chapter.

Black Marsh gets my second place vote.

I hope that neither Skyrim or Summerset isles are planned to be the next chapter

    Akavir.

It must happen but as a true expansion, with new races and a return to classic classes. None of this indie Arpg skillset poop.

Gods please please please anywhere else but bloody Skyrim. It might actually make me stop playing if that's the next place.

Would love either Elsweyr or Mirkmire. Former because Khajiit; latter because I loved the glimpse in the DB questline.

    Just no more bloody Skyrim!

I really hope it's not more Skyrim; I'm bored with drunken Nords and snow. I've seen (and enjoyed) Skyrim, I'm currently enjoying my nostalgia trip in Vvardenfell, it's time for somewhere new to explore (and cause havoc!).

My hopes are also for Summerset or Elsweyr, as I've never been to either of them and most of my characters are Altmer and Khajiit.
RIP Atherton, my beautiful little gentle friend, my Shining Light. I will miss you forever. Without you I am a hollow shell.

I would imagine the next chapter would be Summerset/Alinor. That's speculation, but I think it's solid speculation.

Between now and then, we can expect one DLC with basegame changes, one DLC with nothing but new dungeons, and one DLC with a new area. Honestly, it's anyone's guess what the new area will be.

You may be on to something, with previous DLCs being in the other zones (Wrothgar and Morrowind) I really hope they don't screw up and give us more Skyrim and if they do, don't make it an expansion.

What is practical and to be expected, however, may be an actual Argonian zone or Khajiit homeland.

I don't think we will see another class addition for a while (if ever). My opinion, the Maormer race (Sea Elves) have a higher chance to be implemented.

Personally, I wouldn't mind visiting other continents. But, as hard as a mystery of a game they try to make the Elder Scrolls series, I could never see that happening and leaving it up to a future Elder Scrolls game to take care of. As a matter of fact, I believe the avoidance to add certain zones of Tamriel suggests where the next ES game may be located.

Sorry for the long reply, had a nerdgasm/revelation while sitting on the toilet this morning.

There are plenty of races. We will get another new class before a new race.

If you look at the implemented places in this game, and figure in what we know is coming, it is not hard to guess that Skyrim or Elsweyr are in line for DLC or Chapter work. Murkmire is still out there, hiding, but they would have to be idjits to make Murkmire into a Chapter.

No one knows where TES 6 is going to be, but if we assume ZOS is keeping a distance, and BGS wants to do the biggest game zone ever, it is a pretty short list where TES 6 wil take place.

    That's 2 of 9 holds. Not even a third.

I'd love for Winterhold and Dawnstar to get added, those areas have been left very underdeveloped in TES:V. Adding Spellcrafting with the College of Winterhold would be really nice.

Also, Wrothgar and Hew's Bane have been new areas, whereas the Gold Coast and Vvardenfell have been revisiting TES:III and IV. Seems like a fairly even mix so far. If they add a new area, I think I'd prefer a Daedric realm to Tamriel.

At this point, I think they would just *** off the Skyrim people if they even attempted to "return" to Skyrim. That might not stop them, though.

I mean, don't get me wrong, I would love for them to bring the rest of Skyrim into ESO, and ZOS has the developers that can do it. They don't have the budget or time to do it.

I'm not picky about which area they do next. I'd love to see the rest of Skyrim because I love that climate. Snowy, cold areas are awesome. Plus it would be neat to see how they re-create Whiterun, Markarth and Solitude.
I'd love any other area just as much, though. I'd be happy with whatever. Elsweyr would be great.

Well we don't actually know if all of those cities exist seeing as this is 1000 years before skyrim

I'd be more hyped for Elsweyr rather than Morrowind!!! (Not that Morrowind is bad but we've seen it already in the ES III)

I am an adult, I want to spend the money I earn on crown crates.

ZOS can comply with Brazil's legislation and still sell crown crates to adults.

As much as I would love it, I wouldn't hold your breath about an Argonian zone. Argonians and their homeland and relationship to the Hist and all that have been so shrouded in mystery for so long that pulling back that veil would almost certainly be disappointing.

Devoting an entire Morrowind size DLC to Blackmarsh would almost certainly require the lore team to do so and no one would be happy. No one.
