I agree with you. But what you said can be said about everything. Anything in this game in the right hands can be "OP" - there are people crying in the General Discussion right now about STAMPLARS - stamplars are extremely deadly in the right hands and ive experienced this first hand post patch in bgs and wayrest duels.
In bgs, If I see a Stamplar and a MagSorc coming at me, the Stamplar gets ignored other than getting rid of the power of the light.

umagon✭✭✭✭✭From my perspective, they are pushing for non-champion pvp because zos wants to introduce more power up based incentive awards. In the non-champion environments they have more of effect and grant players who use them an advantage versus those who do not. Not an advantage in every situation but enough of one for players to desire those items.
Once they create this demand then they can monetize on sells of additional content where these items can be obtained. A good example of this is knight slayer; where some people believe it in conjunction with other sets would be extremely dominant in the pvp play fields. Which created a demand for the set and ultimately additional revenue that zos would have not gotten if the set did not exist.
Personally, I just made a singular build that will do what I want in both non-champion point and champion point enabled play fields.

I think a lot of people were having fun on the 30 day no cp campaign on the NA servers. It had almost as many people as the CP campaign, and I thought the game play was nice. faster paced for sure and less forgiving than CP but still fun.
I wish AZURA had been a 7 day no-cp, that 30 day thing threw me...
Still BWB was decent because along with no CP, it had lower cheese... except for a few ridiculous try-hards running sub 50 GOLD gear, and pushing the most exploitative meta for the sake of epeen.
It might be interesting to see a campaign where some sets are nerfed/disabled, along with no CP and see how that plays out? Maybe some ults should be disabled at the lowest levels as well. I'm always amused on alts in BWB, when I see meteors dropping... seriously.0 -

Why would good player go to non cp for easy kills? Good players who have high cp and would have an advantage in cp campaigns.
Non cp puts them level with everyone else and they won't have bonus stats.
Good players go to non cp because its better pvp, they go to non cp because they don't feel like they need a cp advantage to kill people.PS4 EU DC
