Omg dude please. Do you just walk around holding zos's pocket? Every post about game issues and you're on it spewing some bs. Did you just compare weapon enchants to resource cost poisons? Huge difference bud.
Everyone who pvp regularly knows these poisons are completely out of hand. If you are hit by these you're most likely dead. The only counterplay is to run them yourself and hope it procs first.

enchants are weak in compare to poisons...even damage enchant like fire etc is much weaker than normal poison with just damage health
enchent will proc weak once per 5 seconds while poison have chance top proc once per 10 seconds but muh stronger and resource poisons are much much stronger...they not dealing damage but they cause you will lost your resources much faster than your oppond wich will eng you will start just heavy attacking without resources to even break free when your opponet will have still hight amout of resources to just rekt you without defense with his skills
I play on NO CP. and I used to be against poisons. then one day I realized that every fight I had I was at disadvantage. So I started using poisons too. Now I actually run in too ppl who do not used poisons... and I feel horrible because the win does not feel like a win... then I take of my poisons ... now I run in to folks that use poison...

Ok so, thing is... how much damage ravage health poison DOts do vs how much damage enchants do has what exactly to do with the counterplay argument i made?
please look at the Op post. never once did the subject of relative damage come up. it was all about a lack of counterplay.
it was the post i quoted and the comment i even bolded for emphasis was "There is no counterplay to resource poisons..."
Butm if the argument now needs to turn to how much damage poison do or how much damage poisons enable, let me ask you this...
In a heads up PVP battle between one cp630 character played by players of relatively equal skill with all white non-set gear and resource poisons vs a similar character with all gold all set gear that works together but enchants, does the poison player win all the time?
No? Are you saying that it is likely the non-poison gear will decide the outcome?
That is a deliberately extreme example but... seems to me the issue of "do i lose to gear sometimes as opposed to skill" was settled for this game long long long before poisons and specifically resource poisons came into being.
What poisons have tho, that say gold gear sets and maelstrom weapons and monster combos is: they are widely accessible so everyone can have them - as opposed to say trial/arena drops.
Finally, please not, the GAME includes PVE not just PVP. Removing poisons from the whole game due to some folks not liking their effects in PVP is a bit over the top.
