I'm not trolling, just a bit pissed at my own stupidity, thinking that I could buy something blind from ESO and actually be satisfied, a bit like trusting a used car dealer.

The shoes . You can't shoe a horse with those without it going lame in a few blocks . Horse shoeing immersions rekt .

In what manner would the shoes cause lameness? The protrusions on the bottom would help prevent sliding on hard surfaces (stone, blacktop, etc.), and the front looks to be just a decorative/protective piece.

I didn't get the horse. As pointed out, the armor does make its butt look too big. The horses are chunky enough! :)

These are fantasy concepts so I'm not being serious about Ingame but cleated horseshoes are one of the reason race horses get injured on tracks so often . The help dig in for more traction but put extra strain on the limbs . A nail cover would cause splitting of the hoof after running if it was molded to the shoe . A horse hoof flexes under pressure , metal not as much . Anyways the size of those cleats are rediculous and serve little purpose other then esthetics .

Well I'm trolling, and despite all the friendly teasing, I am sympathetic. I know this is the sort of thing that can drive people crazy, and I am by no means immune.

The two paths to acceptance are exposure therapy or avoidance therapy. I recommend riding the Dwarven War Horse exclusively and excessively until you become desensitized. Ride it even when you'd rather walk. Sleep while riding. Fight while riding. Become one with your little pony.

If that fails, ride anything else and forget the Dwarven War Horse. Cross the street. Don't make eye contact. Deny you ever met. Go on like that until the pain eases, then try riding again.

That's about all I got, and now that my update download is done, it's time for me to log in and do something far more important than trolling the forums.

    Trolling in-game chat. :p

Yeah and if you had access to Beta you had an opportunity actually use it. I for one like it.

I'm more used to the cleats being on trail horses. Had no idea they used them on racing horses. The cover on the front of the hoof didn't seem like it was molded to the hoof wall, but more like a shield in front. I miss working with horses. :)

The horse looks awesome. Of course having a bunch of metal armor on it is going to make it look a little bulkier. It looks like a draft horse. I love it.
Considering how detailed it is, saying it's an "insult to buyers" is an insult.

There are very controversial things in the update. This should not be among them.

lol Magic gets us through the details every time .

It's not an awful looking horse it just looks disproportionate to some smaller character models . Horse people in real life are very strange and flip out about the most trivial things to most other people . I get it because I was raised with horses . Equestrian schooled and taught every detail . Then when you show some cowboy a easier way to do something they go all Hee Haw on you and talk about rodeos or something equally off topic . So this post was very entertaining to me .

Disproportional is the keyword. And you must love gold skirts too.

Btw, I was living in a very cold caravan on a horse farm in Yorkshire this winter. Got disconnected from Cyrodiil every 15 minutes though, because of poor wifi.

Yeah, it's called self-irony, smiling at my own idiocy, which you would have noticed if you read the thread. Now it's just amusing to read the comments piling on.

But designing that horse and selling it, as "deluxe", at that price, is still an insult to good taste.

Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.

Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis
