Let's stand at dolmens to see which botters read the patch notes.
Surely the bots will just be updated to move a little bit every now and again. I can't see this fixing the problem really.

While it's a step in the right direction, I have a hunch it will be fairly easy to circumvent.
I still think a large area knockback when the anchor drops would be a better remedy. Can't bot the dolmen if you're nowhere near it.
Target group here is not cheat engine users but rubberbanders.ProbablePaul wrote: »Surely the bots will just be updated to move a little bit every now and again. I can't see this fixing the problem really.
I'm understanding what ZOS did to mean that, any time someone stands still, the power of the charge increases, so standing still for even 10-15% of the fight should make some impact.
Granted, your point is taken, because this could be completely avoided with a little trigonometry. However, most of the people botting may not be the ones writing the botting programs, so they would be impacted until their botting programs are updated, which can reduce the total number of bots for a while. Not to mention, any methods that people use to circumvent these new measures can correlate individual bots into an identifiable group, then groups could be analyzed or ignored, allowing ZOS to hone in on the biggest trouble makers first. Who knwos if ZOS is taking it that far, but we can hopeor pretend :P
