I've also spent 8 years on EVE Online so am kind of used to a trade and regional based market (granted it was better implemented there).

Using it. Doesn't improve on the basic enrage-a-thon that is guild vendors.
Really? I mean it's not perfect but the difference between the options that gives vs the core UI huge.TheRealPotoroo wrote: »
I tried that one. It lasted about 5 minutes before I became so frustrated I uninstalled it.

tip for using awesome guild store. it doesn't consolidate your items on a single page. rather it hides items that don't fit your parameters, so you still have to go through multiple pages, you just don't need to scroll through individual items as much, just hit next page, until you either get to the page that has items you want, or hit the last page, which means that particular store doesn't have what you want.
I think the biggest issue here is the system idea works (I am against a global market) but the implementation wasn't great.
1. You need to have a system which lets players search where an item is (not price info) so they can go and buy it.
This removes the pain of running around checking every store for an item, but also rewards time investment in market trading still (those who take the time to check for low to sell high).
2. The UI and search needs a MASSIVE overhaul for both buyers and sellers.
We shouldn't need to have add-ons on PC just to be able to use the search feature well.
Those two changes would do a great deal in helping people enjoy the system more.
On the specifics of your issue OP, as said above if you're on PC get AwesomeGuildStore and MasterMerchant, for better UI and price tracking (respectively).
When you're using TCC website check the listed times, anything more than a day ago if it's an in demand item is likely gone. Try going to vendors in Outlaw Refuges, DLC zones or outline stores (the single NPC's not in each zones main settlement) as these are less used and more likely the item will be there.
Otherwise, just try to push through the pain and remember to tell ZOS their breaking your balls. (only South Park line I could think of).

The fact ZOS hasn't just ripped it off and thrown it into the game as a core UI yet is actually pretty shocking.

Really. It was so counter-intuitive and just bloody awful I could not get it to do anything useful. I'm serious, I terminated that crap with extreme prejudice. If ZoS stole it tomorrow that would be the day I quit this game because I could not live with an interface that awful.

What's so bad about it? I haven't used it but I have looked over its features on ESOUI.TheRealPotoroo wrote: »Really.
