Morrowind pre-download question

I bought the digital upgrade for Morrowind and went to my account page to download it. My account says "THE ELDER SCROLLS® ONLINE: MORROWIND® DIGITAL EDITION" status: "active". Under that there is a button to download the game. What is confusing me is that when I press that button, it seems to want to download the entire game (87GB). I already have the base game installed; is there a way to just download the expansion like we can do with the DLC? If I do have to redownload the entire game, do I have to uninstall my current installation first?

✭You don't download anything. The game will automatically update itself when the expansion is pushed live. Same like any other update or DLC.Sometimes, I dream about...cheese...
