The blind remain blind. You got what you paid for when you purchased the base game. Period. End of Story. Subscribers get what we pay for. Period. End of Story. Crown buyer get what they pay for. Period. End of Story. You cry because you don't get what subscribers get. Hence your crying because what we pay for you don't get for free. It's very simple. No Godhood involved here. No looking down of any noses. Just simple fiscal facts.

It won't be good if the same mechanic that's applied to the craft bag applies to the bank in addition to the craft bag

They have done a number of things to improve inventory in this game, and only two of them have been directed at ESO Plus. All of these either increase storage space or make better use of existing storage space. Apologies if I missed one.
ESO 1.6 - Increased the stack size of all raw and refined crafting materials to 200.
ESO 1.6 - Increased the amount of bait you can stack to 200.
ESO 2.1 - Increased bag space to a max of 200, for everyone
ESO 2.3 - Mementos are moved from inventory to collections
ESO 2.6 - ESO Plus Crafting Bag was added
ESO 2.6 - Survey reports now stack, up to 200
ESO 2.7 - All Motif Books, Motif Chapters, and Provisioning recipes stack to 200
ESO 3.0 - ESO Plus double sized bank
Additionally, with the introduction of the Crown Store, inventory can be upgraded through gold or Crowns, which makes larger inventories more easily accessible to more players.
Don't like double bank space and crafting bags for ESO Plus? Running out of room to store things? ZOS not addressing storage space specifically to your liking? Fine. Just recognize that they have not been ignoring storage, and not everything is ESO Plus.
I get your warning, in the part that I quoted. We have no idea what they might have in the pipeline for base improvement to inventory. It is too soon to be saying that they will only be doing sub benefits, from now on.

Glad you mentioned it. Here is a very specific mechanic that islordrichter wrote: »Transairion wrote: »But there's a fine line between Sub Benefits and general QoL benefits... when you start only giving the latter to the former, you alienate more players than you those you tempt to spend more.

That looks all and pretty in theory but once you mention that the ESO 2.1 was almost two years ago, I gets more meaning.
Motifs? Chapters? Surveys? Its all things that people use on the spot.
Mementos? It was done from practical reasons, so people can use them whenever they like and to open up avenue for Crown Store Exclusive Mementos.
Take these few things away, and here it is, since two years, there was nothing done to improve inventory management for players who paid for game and may or may not support it by direct crown purchases and soon by purchasing expansions.

I'm sorry, I didn't know expressing displeasure at design choices you disagree with was "crying" now. If nobody ever speaks up because "wah wah stop crying" then nothing will ever change, no?
But there's a fine line between Sub Benefits and general QoL benefits... when you start only giving the latter to the former, you alienate more players than you those you tempt to spend more. Thems the breaks when the much-loved subscribers are woefully outnumbered by the rest of the playerbase, especially in the case where everyone has spent money to play.
Let me put it this way: ESO is the best MMO I've ever seen and played, primarly because ESO+ is a benefit rather than a requirement. Sure, SWTOR and other games have a F2P option... have you played them? Because they cripple your ability to play that way so badly there really is no actual point.
ESO is pay to play, and charges for all DLC/Chapters/etc. I'm happy to continue paying for all that and supporting the game so long as Zenimax stays the course they've been on so far. Crafting Bag, Bank Space in the name of "ESO+ benefits only" has begun a slippery slope where base game QoL Improvements that have already been given out in the past just to be witheld to charge for. I'm not holding my breath for there to be any kind of storage in Homestead (ironically a base game update, I wonder why it's missing?? /s) at this point.
Fact of the matter is ESO failed as a Subscription-only game, the amount of non-subs you alienate should be kept as low as possible. Or just go F2P. But don't pretend to be B2P and then go F2P mode once you're in the door, that kind of thing drove me away from other games TOWARDS ESO because ESO didn't do it.
If ESO goes that same route of $ > everything where you either sub or might as well not play at all, then I'll just take my money elsewhere. ESO being different is what makes it one of, if not the best MMO's out there.

Listen, eso plus is not a loyalty rewards program. Likewise, when you purchase the game you get exactly what is offered in the base game. When you purchase a dlc, you are getting exactly what you pay for.
In any subscription optional mmo, that is THE preferred method of support, no matter which way you cut it. It is stable revenue (allowing projected update cadence) vs volatile revenue (cash shops).
Frankly, why someone who truly enjoys the game cant be bothered with forking over 2 quarters a day is beyond me. If that price is just steep enough to cause you issues financially, then you probably should be spending FAR less time in game. Especially an allotted amount of time that would ever justify the need for 400 plus inventory slots.....
Of course there is the tin foil hat brigade that refuses to subscribe based on shear principle. As if they believe the subscription is a rip off and still complain when the game is not up to snuff on its updates.
Regardless of which camp you belong to, you are coming off disgustingly entititled.

Perhaps its an addon for it?
Thank, that might be an good idea, just go over the invetory, sell stuff, then mark set items for deconstruct as junk and go to crafting station.Merlin13KAGL wrote: »@zaria download Deconstruction Junk Marker , mark items as junk, they'll stand out nicely.Make me wonder, should be an way to turn off using items in bank for deconstruction.

It's about the closest thing to an elegant solution I could find.
I really wish they'd add a keybind to "Mark as Junk" though. The process would be much accelerated.
