When the housing patch went live people asked why inventory space wasn't included with a house, which is largely the reason a lot of players would even consider a house. ESO stated that they checked and most people had not unlocked all the inventory space on their characters so they thought we didn't need it. The players then explained they had not unlocked it because it was too much of a gold sink. ZOS response was to add it to the ESO+ perks, a pure cash grab and cynical to it's core. ZOS really doesn't understand how to run an MMO, they monetize everything which alienates the players and is detrimental to overall game health.

Yes almost a two years, nearly 20 months ago, 6 DLC's ago or whatanaot.
And in meanwhile we got hundreds and thousands of new items/equipment/furniture items with no means to effectively store them.
Increasing bank space just for subbers is not the way to go. Craft bag is not solution. "Solving" a long standing quality of life issue with a remedy locked behind a paywall is not a real solution.

Max Bank Space, Max Bag Space, Max Horse Space.... still 3/4 of my storage is crafting materials, and I only keep the rarer tiers of materials now... stockpile the actual materials I need to craft basic things, where am I going to store those? Crazy!
More space for the rest of the playerbase would be nice, but "muh monies" I guess. The complaints about lack of space from future subs will seem even more hilarious in comparison though, crafting bag + nearly 500 Bank slots will never be enough for some people.
I'm with you - I have 2 mules currently on my main account which I could free up but with crowns from subbing that I have no other use for, buying the extra slots is not a real issue. The added bank space will let me delete two mules and use them for Warden if I want. I might keep them though because I have plenty of crowns from subscribing and nothing really to spend them on. Two more character slots might not be a bad thing and keep my mules.
Kneighbors wrote: »Don't forget that sub comes with 1500 crowns as well. $13 for craftbag, extra bankspace, and full value of the real money returned in crowns? Hell yeah!
Since I've always been a sub this is nice to know.
And i mean c'mon it's just $13. Lol. Just do something small for a neighbour if 13 really is too much for you.
13$ per month is not too much for me, but it's way too much for ESO in its current state.
If you are looking for good value, for 10$ single payment you can get 8 mule slots with huge amount of bag space, bank space, 5 trading guilds slots and much much more.
In any case, when you buy something you need to think "is this thing worth it?" and not "is it much for me?". Yea, 13$ per month for that game is around 1300% more than its correct value. One buck a months for a broken group finder is pretty much an OK deal.

Been there done that. It's the biggest pain in the world to completely Exit out of ESO just to get a few items, re-log to the other account, find what you need maybe looking in multiple alts, exit ESO again - re-log to the other account (and hope you don't have to get a verification from your email because the program gets confused) Then log back in to you main character.
So yeah - 10 minutes every time you just want to fetch an item. But at least you're saving money, lol.

My ESO+ subscription runs out and will not be reloaded. True story.

That'll show them! LOL
My second ESO account has 8 characters full of nothing but recipes and motifs that I am either keeping in case I want them one day or they are worth selling one day. I would not be storing anything in this account that I may need at short notice. This cost me nothing to set up and might only get logged onto once a month.scorpiodog wrote: »I already have double the bank space. I opened a 2nd account for $10 and cancelled my sub.

It is also a very handy mailbox. If my inventory and bank is full and I do not want to stop and clear it, I simply mail excess items to the second account knowing it will come back to me in 30 days or I can log in and return it any time.
The 2 mules on my normal account hold things I may want to get at quickly. One of them holds armour and weapons that I want to hold on to and the other holds jewelry and any other day to day stuff I might sell off - stacks of soul gems, psijic recipe pieces, basic motifs, etc.
ZeroZero77 wrote: »...I found I can totally live without the bag. Bank space isn't currently an issue ....
This Depends strong on three things
1: Can you live with half full Inventorys of the chars you really play
2: How many Chars du you really play
3: How much Craft you
Finally you can play 2 Chars of a 8 Char account without problems.
You are only forced to sell items, partially by a low Price

I can't remember how many set items - even with good traits - I wanted to bank (any maybe test later or use in a fun build) but had to destroy them.
I like this game a lot but I think it's one thing we can agree on this game has a stupidly low amount of bag space.
Stupidly low.
It's so idiotic. ZOS's goal is to have as many people playing for as long as possible, and spending as much IRL bucks as possible so how exactly will giving a stupidly low amount of bag space help achieve that goal? It won't!
It doesn't help you achieve your objective ZOS it's just dumb and makes people angry. Frustrating your customers is a terrible idea.
Add storage to housing today. End this nonsense.
