"About time" is all I can say to that.

I can't remember how many set items - even with good traits - I wanted to bank (any maybe test later or use in a fun build) but had to destroy them.

So they started off with little bank space, added thousands of items and put more space behind a pay wall?

It's a shame I'm not a "valuable enough customer" for Zenimax to give me any additional bag or bank space, Crown Store or otherwise.

Max Bank Space, Max Bag Space, Max Horse Space.... still 3/4 of my storage is crafting materials, and I only keep the rarer tiers of materials now... stockpile the actual materials I need to craft basic things, where am I going to store those? Crazy!

More space for the rest of the playerbase would be nice, but "muh monies" I guess. The complaints about lack of space from future subs will seem even more hilarious in comparison though, crafting bag + nearly 500 Bank slots will never be enough for some people.

    man, can't wait :)

first thing to do - get all those collectables out of my characters inventory, stick all those treasure maps back in my bank, all those rings and necklaces I have spread out over 8 characters - back in the bank...

and stack sets...lots and lots of sets...

Ironically, for me the largest consumer of bank space with ESO+ is furniture, after having purchased so many furnished homes.

Using bank space to store furniture...thats kinda silly.
You dont walk down to your local Back of America and say: "Yo bro, I need to buy more space from you to store all this extra stuff I cant fit / wont put in my house."

Eh, its clearly obvious Zo$ has no idea what the hell theyre doing, but I still like the look and feel of the game, so I'll tolerate their incompetence for the time being until another, equally appealing fantasy MMO catches my eye.

I already have double the bank space. I opened a 2nd account for $10 and cancelled my sub.

Actually this way it is much easier to manage. Like you wanna store long term - you mail it to your second account.

Furnuture? All to second account! Let the mules build you a house.

Aint cool at all to search through hundreds of items.

Also it will bind you to the subscription even further.

This game doesn't worth 210$ while they can't even make a working grouping tool.

I'm not going to use the extra space and will intentionally keep my items less than half.

As a subscriber, losing the craft back due to unforeseen events in 2016 took adjustments before things went back to normal.

I can't imagine the hell this will cause should I find it necessary to temp close my sub again.

It won't be good if the same mechanic that's applied to the craft bag applies to the bank in addition to the craft bag.

I don't think ZoS thought this through for those who may have to give up their sub.

This is exactly what they did, they thought this through and found one more point for you to think about before you cancel your subscription.

Bank bug incoming when this goes live... Im calling it!

No, but all joking aside, I am really happy ZOS is giving this bonus to subscribers. Even though they know damn well what they are doing. They know inventory management is a huge pain in eso. It has been a major complaint since launch. No surprise they give subs access to larger bank space and a crafting bag. It's the true ZOS style.

Next time I leave, I'm taking my $15 with me. When I stopped playing back during the winter, I knew I'd be back so I kept my subscription active. But after turning it off for a bit, I found I can totally live without the bag. Bank space isn't currently an issue as long as I clear out the maps. I have no idea what a supposed DLC is now. There are less reasons to have a sub these days. Let them live off their B2P model and loot crates. Maybe then we'll see actual subscriber perks not this... stuff. If they really are doing fine with this B2P model then why not do away with subscriptions totally. Make the bag a store item. Extra bank space a store item. Apparently subscribes aren't really that appreciated. Or most players are just hoarders. I bet if people cleared out their bag of all the stuff they've acquired leveling up (lots of space there) anyone can do without a bag. Though really I think people are just hoarders.

I hate these things but I would expect something like the current perks to belonging to ESO+ and two or three crates a month. Maybe twice the number of keys to subscribers. Faster research time than 10%. Double horse training. Tokens instead of prayers to RNGesus. Free wayshires use from anywhere. Things that make having a subscription make more sense than not. But if people are going to keep applauding such small efforts, its never going to be worth having one. No one's going to think you're worth anything if you don't.

This Depends strong on three things
1: Can you live with half full Inventorys of the chars you really play
2: How many Chars du you really play
    3: How much Craft you

Finally you can play 2 Chars of a 8 Char account without problems.
You are only forced to sell items, partially by a low Price

Are there any other perks coming for subscribers?

When the housing patch went live people asked why inventory space wasn't included with a house, which is largely the reason a lot of players would even consider a house. ESO stated that they checked and most people had not unlocked all the inventory space on their characters so they thought we didn't need it. The players then explained they had not unlocked it because it was too much of a gold sink. ZOS response was to add it to the ESO+ perks, a pure cash grab and cynical to it's core. ZOS really doesn't understand how to run an MMO, they monetize everything which alienates the players and is detrimental to overall game health.

As much as I welcome the much needed space, I recall on the PTS that after 2-3 patch cycles it is bugged. But of course! you say...what else is new! /grumbling profanities

I had one toon that could access all the spaces when looking at the shared bank. The rest of my toons had varying degrees of what they could see. Even the number of spaces was off. I could put an item in on one toon, and the next couldn't see it anywhere in the bank. I had to trade items with guildies just to get stuff to the right toon. Really hope this is fixed for next week. I bug reported too. Pretty sure I never got an answer back either.

It makes perfect sense when you consider two possibilities.

    1. No one at ZOS wanted this game to switch to B2P. They wanted it to remain a subscription game. Reasons for that change aside, what they want is for ESO Plus to be used by lots of players because ESO Plus gives them a steady stream of revenue.

    2. ESO Plus is not unpopular and subscriber numbers are probably greater than 50%, for players who are regularly active in the game.

By giving double bank space to ESO Plus, they are providing a perk that really targets the regularly active players. Regularly active players are more likely to have improved inventory space and are more likely to benefit from this. Regularly active players are more likely to subscribe, if they do not already subscribe, and will be attracted by this incentive. As new players move up into the ranks of regularly active, they also have incentive to subscribe.

If they really cared about a steady stream of revenue they should revert back to subscription only and *** can the cancer that is the crown store and crown crates. Both of those suck money out of the pot for bug fixes and game development. The product will always be lacking while those 2 systems exist.

    Checkout Votan's Search box addon.

I appreciate the suggestion, but I want containers of some kind that I can can keep complete sets in, have one for each of my characters that I can dump recipes / motifs / blueprints into, etc.

Easy inventory management is one of the few things I miss about Eve.

Containers for complete sets would be amazing and also something i have thought about

Sadly, I am pretty sure aren't going back.

It will be interesting to see whether any future games published by Bethesda start off as Subscription, or go straight to B2P/F2P, though.

Lets all remember that last time ZOS increased bank space and bag space for every player in game (for gold payment of course) was almos [/b]two years ago[/b].

Yes almost a two years, nearly 20 months ago, 6 DLC's ago or whatanaot.

And in meanwhile we got hundreds and thousands of new items/equipment/furniture items with no means to effectively store them.

Increasing bank space just for subbers is not the way to go. Craft bag is not solution. "Solving" a long standing quality of life issue with a remedy locked behind a paywall is not a real solution.

Ummmm.....yes craft bags are the way to go. Doubling bank space is the way to go. Guess what? Business. You want awesomw sales? Make lucrative offers. Sorry, welcome to MMO's. Dont have eso+? Buy 5 less redbulls a month. Buy 1 less pack of cigs a month. Buy literally 15 dollars less than normal and you would have this.

    Already have eso+? Solution:
Stop hoarding. Option 1:sell. Option 2: decon. Problem solved.

Been there done that. It's the biggest pain in the world to completely Exit out of ESO just to get a few items, re-log to the other account, find what you need maybe looking in multiple alts, exit ESO again - re-log to the other account (and hope you don't have to get a verification from your email because the program gets confused) Then log back in to you main character.

So yeah - 10 minutes every time you just want to fetch an item. But at least you're saving money, lol.

Don't forget that sub comes with 1500 crowns as well. $13 for craftbag, extra bankspace, and full value of the real money returned in crowns? Hell yeah!

Since I've always been a sub this is nice to know. :)

13$ per month is not too much for me, but it's way too much for ESO in its current state.

If you are looking for good value, for 10$ single payment you can get 8 mule slots with huge amount of bag space, bank space, 5 trading guilds slots and much much more.

In any case, when you buy something you need to think "is this thing worth it?" and not "is it much for me?". Yea, 13$ per month for that game is around 1300% more than its correct value. One buck a months for a broken group finder is pretty much an OK deal.
