My trophy is this story, not a monster helm or heinous bronze bust. When I q'ed my tank into Selene's Web daily last night, it was almost like I pictured myself being right here, before I even got to know my group. I knew we weren't beating it. The conversation at the beginning hinted at that. It went something like this:

Tank (me): Hey, are you gonna wear bear proc at the end?
DD: (wearing Selene's set, we'll call him "Selene") Ya selene's medium divines both : )
Tank: That's not gonna be good at the end
    Healer: Whats bear proc?
The other DD (we'll call him "Vegeta") is heading to the start so I leave the entrance. Nobody is on mikes but me.

I get to the first mob and the fight is started already. I get things chained into a pile pretty well, and the screen freezes when I do a warhorn.

I log back in, half hoping to be kicked, and I'm kind of surprised they waited.

The rest of the dungeon becomes a race as the impatient dps guy Vegeta keeps starting fights before I can get there. Dps for the squad is lopsided, the mobs are just not getting killed efficiently. Vegeta has overload, boundless storm, surge and shields and thinks this makes him Super Saiyan. He is visibly carrying the heavy side of the squad's dps over Selene and his bear.

I start getting annoyed. The next time Vegeta runs past me to the mob, I run past him not poking anything. I go straight to the next mob and properly pull it together. I think my Stormfist went off as much or more than Selene's bear. My mob would have about half health after they finished the first one. I hoped this would show them the difference and let the tank manage the adds. It did not. We leapfrogged each other like this to each boss, and competitively, but inefficiently, made our way to Selene.

Tank: This isn't gonna go well

***, ***, Hey Bubba, here comes the the hard part. At least we all knew the 2 keys weren't happening. I'm up for a challenge, but I knew I would (and did) have to chain the adds and also rezz people while managing Selene, drawing her bear away while I ignore the other Selene's bear. Vegeta led us to the corner method, and we get her down to around 150k before I was suddenly the last man and couldn't output enough tank damage and heal through all the adds. I was annoyed at having two bears, so I found the solution:

I asked them to wait in text chat, silently hoping they would ignore me and go after the spider right away. Why? So I could put on my Selene's set without them seeing it. (poor healer) Now we can have Momma, Poppa, and Baby bear!

Now, it was my turn to laugh, as bears were roaring all over the place. We easily had triple the number of deaths on this attempt compared to the first one I took seriously. The only thing I didn't take seriously the second time was how stupid it was to wear that set in that fight and not just use one piece kragh, kena, velidreth, or something else. I felt bad for the healer, but I left them after this wipe because I had to go to work in the morning early and write this. The End.

You see the boss animation for heavy attack though?
There could be a thousand bear procs but so long as you look at the bosses direction and animation (yellow glowy thing?) you simply walk behind her.

I tried a normal dungeon couple of months ago and it was the first time for me to try it. I was a healer and the other three players knew that I was new to this. We did pretty well in the beginning but later on there was a dps and a tanker that kept losing health, and I tried to heal them all the time. I had to protect another dps and myself while I tried to heal the other two that kept losing health constantly. However, in the end I got kicked out because I didn’t heal them 24/7.

@Thessalia don't worry. If they need that much healing, it's going to be super painful for the rest of the run. Try again though, not all groups are bad. I got an ICP or WGT (w/e has the warden boss) yesterday, and we got the clear even with healer 36 (me) and deeps 12 and other deeps CP200ish in love with looking at his death recap (I used more soul gems rezzing him than I usually go through in a week). Even with mediocre teams you can still get through. I've also had a group of super leet pro MLGers run through CoA while I trailed trying to get my quest done. Sadly, you just hit the bottom of the barrel. At least it can't get (much) worse. :)

I was doing a random normal... That should be enough to know how bad this was.

I'm still leveling a new build on one of my characters, so I do random normal for that nice Exp bonus. I don't have any optimized gear since it's a recycled crafted set. There's no need for optimized gear on normal... except we get Fungal Grotto II.

We get a low level Tank and Healer, which is fine because it's on Normal. So I start running the dungeon and clearing mobs, and I noticed that the Tank is hardly trying to use taunts but it is not necessary because I can more than handle tanking Normal bosses. Then we get to the second boss.

I'm chained down by shadows, and killed. I tell them to "rez me or wipe", meaning that if they don't resurrect me that they will wipe. Obviously if three of them can't kill a single shadow, then there's no way two of them can when the next player is chained. Whereas I can kill a shadow within just a couple seconds. So I'm not resurrected, and they wipe. I'm chained again, wiped. Chained again, wiped. Then the healer, who is running Restoration Staff, and Sword and SHIELD! says: "STOP DYING YOU [SNIP]". I face palm at that, and that annoys me to no end... Then she questions me mockingly asking should a healer stop healing for eight seconds to resurrect a player? I respond with a resounding YES!! It's on normal, and heals do NOT need to be constant. Plus a Templar can heal much faster than the full eight seconds. Sure a healer should resurrect last, but it's the entire group's responsibility to resurrect any fallen player if they're given the chance. Let's hope this healer never goes in a Vet dungeon or trial.

I get chained again, and by luck the other three manage to kill a shadow, and we kill the boss easily enough. Irritated at this point, I jump off the waterfall and start to clear mobs. The group doesn't follow me and immediately start having trouble on a mob! ON A MOB! ON NORMAL!!!! THE TANK DIES ON A MOB ON NORMAL!!! I clear all the mobs fighting my way back up to the group, and am so dumbfounded that I am even more irritated!

We get to the spider boss, and I run into the cave because I know I am the only one capable of clearing it. We kill the boss no problem, except the tank died three times throughout the fight. We go to the next boss, where the others start running around and aggroing all those white ghost things. I'm dumbfounded again and allow myself to be killed.

I've become a lot busier in life and can't spend a lot of time in a dungeon, and at this point I had to leave for at least fifteen minutes. The healer starts getting all angry at me, saying I'm not the tank so I shouldn't pull and that I need to learn to play as a group. Also she felt it was appropriate to mention she's been playing since closed Alpha. Good for her, so have I!

Sure, I could have walked them through the dungeon since I was carrying all three of them but I was on a tight time window and would rather get the dungeon done.

I admit I was impatient, and was beyond irritated that the healer was being all high and mighty calling me names when I die to a mechanic that the rest of the group fails to complete. I can solo any normal dungeon easily on my unfinished build except for the two dungeons that have lockdown mechanics. I

Plus, given the excuse the healer gave when I told the group to rez me, I'm confident advice with her would not have gone well at all. She'd no doubt take offense to it and have a ***-poor attitude regardless.

So the other night i got a funny story ohh god it was funny

How "dumb and dumber" give bad name to low CP people :)

So the other night me cp 600 plus magica sorc and my friend she is 600 cp plus healer we decided to go Blackheart Haven.
it was me her and two other guys with the same beginning 3 clan words cp 140 and cp 180. We thought yhea that should be fine.

So the start of the run we ported in and she tells me , her food run out she is about to use it so as im waiting those other two lets call them "dumb and dumber" port in and right away rush in the fight and die right away .... as soon as they died they tried to kick out my friend the healer lol i declined of course and she places "LOL" on group chat .. the "dumb and dumber" put whats LOL ... and she writes " it means Laugh Out Loud.." lol so anyway we go in, im pretty much carrying the group which is fine we go up to the first boss me and healer i go in the room with him as its easier to control him the "dumb and dumber" are not with us... some how the "dumb" was down stairs died and his buddy " dumber" didn't want to rez at this time my friend went down to rez him and the "dumber" pulled adds and they got wiped .. so it was me and the boss at 40% health and i figured... well its slack if i kill him by my self.. so i wipe...

we rez the "dumb and dumber" and are still down and i noticed they are just pulling adds and bringing them to kill my friend who is trying to heal them and they started swearing at her and not wanting to go to the boss and trying to kick me now! LOL ... .. i decided .. ok you want to troll ... lets troll baby >:) .. .. so the "dumb and dumber" rez and i pulled as many adds as i could pop my shield and just ran towards them lol they died ... the razzed again and i done the same ting " PAIN TRAIN BABY" and kept on doing this couple of times over and over again until they called us noobs and swearing at us like sailors and left the group at the whole time me and my friend were laughing, eventually we got another 2 people and we just burn through things and got two keys in the end.

Its a shame when low end CP can be such D bags.. if they actually played their rolls as in tank actually tanking we would have no problem in taking things easy and helping them finish it BUT i don't know what was going through their heads and honestly now if i ever see those 3 letter words of the clan in beginning of the names .. i would think really poorly of them.

After my last rant, I haven't really done any dungeons since. I went back to Cyrodil to take a break from the frustration of PVE. But I remembered a good story to balance my last one!

A while back I did a Veteran Dungeon on my Khajiit that is now strictly PVP, and I didn't bother changing his build for doing one or two pledges. So we are doing Volenfall, and my first impression of the group is not all that great since it takes a while to clear a mob. I don't think the tank was familiar with the dungeon so I quickly took the lead and led the group through the dungeon.

When we get to the steam room, I try to bring the group through the steam, but they all get killed by it. So they revive, and I sprint for the boss to start and hoping the group will follow me. They did, except the healer who saw a chest in the steam hallway, and stopped to get it. It was really funny, and she was like "Ooops! That was dumb of me." I just laughed, and fought the boss. The tank died a few times, but we killed the boss and shut off the steam.

We get to the final bosses, and we tried hard mode. Unfortunately we wipe, and we try without HM, and we wipe. The reason why I was wiping is because I kept trying to resurrect the other players, but that kept getting me killed. So I activate HM again and go for it. The other three die when the bosses are still around 90%, but this time instead of trying to resurrect them, I full on engage the bosses because I know these bosses can be kited. So there I am solo-ing the final bosses on Volenfell doing terrible DPS since I'm mostly trying to not get one shot. I'm running around trying to keep as many DoTs on the bosses as I can and using Incap Strike when I can without getting hit.

It took a little over ten minutes but I wound up slaying all three bosses on Hardmode and got all of us the double keys. The group was impressed and was very nice about me taking the time to kill the bosses(rather than angry because I didn't wipe or resurrect).

So those are some players that weren't the best, but they were a lot of fun to play with and allowed me to take the lead when it was clear that I know what I am doing, even on a subpar build.

Had a new one today in Normal Imperial Prison.

It was a random dungeon, and we have a tank level 24 Warden, a healer mid 200's CP and a DPS about 116CP and myself 630cp DPS.

The dungeon is going fine and a few of us die on the Zombie boss that spawns a bunch of adds. Normally a tank would pull the boss around the corner of the gate, for LoS on all the adds, but the tank didn't. No big deal.

The tank then calls for the healer to be kicked in the middle of the fight. The templar was doing just fine, and the DPS died because we were aggroing too many of the adds. I reply that the healer is doing fine, and then the tank immediately leaves, still in the middle of the fight. The healer kills the Zombie boss and the DPS and I resurrect.

I don't know why the healer got the blame when the tank failed to taunt the adds, and failed to control them around LoS like most tanks do in that dungeon. We continue on and three many through a couple bosses, and then a new tank comes in with a bow - it's fine because we don't need a tank and we complete the dungeon easily enough.

The other DPS spammed snipe and WB most of the time so he wasn't that good, but for some reason the original tank focused our healer for some reason and blamed him for a couple deaths.

One of the last things i did last night before logging off was a random vet dungeon. Our tank was CP600, and didn't tank ANYTHING. More often than not he was standing idle behind everyone else. The other DPS and the healer were both less than 200 CP. I ended up tanking the dungeon on my light armor mDK while also being a DD. Moral of the story is, don't judge a person by his CP. :)

Would like to put a good one out there for a change. Ran a random vet and got WGT. Tank was I think 200-something cp, the other dps I think ~400 cp, healer ~100 cp and me. The other dps dropped as soon as he saw it was WGT and groupfinder didn't manage to find a replacement so we just moved on. I'm pretty sure it was their first time but we actually made it all the way to Planar, at which point I talked a friend of mine into helping and we actually finished the dungeon after a few wipes.

Tank was pretty squishy but he tried to follow the mechanics at least and healer - yes, the little 100 cp healer that so many people would just kick at the start for being <160 cp - actually did great. They were not using orbs and I'm not sure on Drain either but they actually healed and they didn't die. They blocked when monsters turned their way. They bashed when they saw something they could bash. They put out damn nice healing which is actually impressive because between just 3 of us and squishy squishy tank we were taking quite a bit of damage. They didn't close the portals their first time(but they did put out enough healing that we almost recovered from having like 10 ogrims out lol) so we explained portals to them again and it went really smooth the next time. They had 18k health and even knew what Annulment was - slotted it when I suggested it's a good skill for Planar/Kena. Heck 99/100 300-600 cp pugs I've grouped with lately haven't the foggiest what Annulment is. We did end up with a few wipes on Kena, mostly because of the tank being inexperienced and squishy, but we made it eventually.

The conclusion? I just wanted to call bs on "no <160 cp people in vet dungeons" thing once again. The 100 cp healer may not have been end-game tier perfect but he did absolutely great, especially for the first time in vWGT. It has been a while since I ran into a knowledgeable pug player at all and it was a pleasantly refreshing experience :)

Oh boy. That's basics 101. CoS is definitely not the time to be teaching the very basics of tanking. That's hilarious, but I kind of feel bad for the guy. At least he's willing to learn, but probably should have done it way before he reached 600 CP. Possibly one of the infamous noobs that grind to max level with dolmens (bad exp grind btw) and don't know a thing about the game?

    My story:

A few days ago I was trying to run vWGT for the pledge. I am using Group Finder and we go in, and I'm the tank. Everyone else is below like 300CP, and the DPS is like 94CP or so. The healer is a Warden which I'm not too familiar with yet, the low DPS is a nightblade, and the other DPS is a Dragonknight (and I'm Templar Tank). Immediately someone tries to kick the Nightblade, and I deny it. It is tried three times before the player gives up because I pull a mob. We get through the mobs well enough, but DPS is a little low.

The healer asks who is the tank because the Dragonknight has a sword and board and bow, and more health than I do as the tank. (I have 34k health which I feel is too much, and the DPS had 38k health.) The DK claims he gets 22kdps, which I seriously doubted because of our fight with the Flesh Colossus - it takes a while. Like combined DPS was beneath 20k - it's definitely not promising but whatever, the dungeon has no DPS checks and it really is not that difficult.

The first boss I aggro, the Harvester does that wave attack, and all three of my teammates are instantly killed because they stood single file behind each other. I laugh at that (I'm in a good mood), and rez them. We wipe a few more times before the healer rage quits and Dragonknight starts blaming the low DPS, and tries to kick him again. Now that we identified the bad player, throwing a fit because he's not being carried, I promptly have him kicked and look for replacements.

Unfortunately I had to kick the low level later on, and I finished the dungeon with an entirely new group. I don't mind players that are new, and I can carry them through most of the time (difficult to do on a tank though). When it comes to player trying to kick others without even pulling a mob, and boasting false numbers (maybe AOE was that number?) and blaming other players - I kick you.

LOL maybe your right , but he qued up as tank and had sword and board cp 600 not knowing what taunt is lol

recently because of the GF is screwd up i had to que my self as healer and DPS as im running a 48k plus magica sorc and if i am qued up as healer i can also heal just with my pet.

Its funny how many times i hear complaining about me as a healer and once when they see i can provide really good dps and not let anybody die once, they quickly send me praises :)

The other day it was just 3 of us me tank and another dps spindle clutch and we finished the last boss and the other two were cp 300 :)

EDIT: So as I read on, i see that the Gargoyle boss, Quintus, cannot be taunted at all times? So that makes me feel better about the tank in my group, but still does not explain the rest of the mob pulls and bosses in the dungeon... No reason a Sorc DPS should be getting focus healed, and casting his wards because he is taking the brute of the boss dmg.

Yeah, you should try tanking before you bag out on tanks.

    Red centurian won't taunt.
    Quintus won't taunt either.

Correct way to deal with centurians on HM is to pull yellow right up the back and then kill yellow while kiting red, then kill red and then finish blue.

Nothing is more frustrating than tanking when the boss ignores taunts and the DPS have no idea what the mechanics are.

Hey, i want to share too :P

Has nothing to do with Looking for group but okay!

My highlight yesterday was: I am looking for members for aetherian archive. A friendly player joined, but we couldn't find more. I wrote this into the group chat and he was friendly enough and told me the reason: I am a ***. His last word was feg and he leaved the group....strange Oo

I told him to take his medicine and that he has to be at least 16 years old to play this game, and that was it.

So the other night i went in to do Cradle OF shadows

Me 600 plus my friend she was 600 cp healer we had a tank cp 600 and a low end player cp 300 ..

We went in and started killing adds not bad it was not going as fast as possible got the the 1st boss and noticed she was chasing the healer and then me while tank with 35k health was just standing there using light attack .. after a wipe i asked the tank " hey buddy are you using taunt"? to which he replied " What is taunt and why i should be using it? cant you use it?

"face palm" had to vote to kick ...

LOL and I thought I have seen it all. "cant you use it" lmao, it's almost too stupid to believe except unfortunately I feel we're at that level of average pug alright now :/

This happened to me a few days ago:

So I was queueing for vBSII as a healer and found a PUG group pretty quickly.
We proceeded to do the first mob group. Both other players were CP 160+. We killed the first group slowly and my combat metric showed me that I did 65% of the damage in this fight. I was like: "Wait a minute, I am a healer, what is going on?". We kill the next mob group and the tank and I again do 80% of the damage.

The tank then proceeds to try to kick the first DD, the other DD seems to be intelligent and declines. Then the tank tries to kick the other DD. The other DD is not so bright and agrees.
We proceed to kick the other DD afterwards. So we are now just tank and heal. The tank queues us again with another DD. He is CP 630 and we start doing the next mob groups as a 3 while waiting.
We quickly realise we hit the Jackpot with that DD and don't need a 4th player.
In the end we finished the dungeon as a 3 in like 30 min.

Moral of the story, pls only queue for vet dungeons if you do at least 10k+ dps.

Respond to a zone chat looking for group for hard mode vet pledges want to do non DLC first. I go in as healer. Tank was one looking for group. Get two good DPS. First dungeon is the one (I am terrible with remembering names) where the final boss shows up when you touch his sword and for two keys you gotta leave a certain number of ads up.

The tank in chat tries to explain how he likes to go about each fight before we start. One DPS keeps typing let's just do this. He isn't our best DPS in the group, but not bad. If we pay attention to mechanics a little the group is going to finish with few problems. Not good enough though to just burn through and ignore. Our impatient DPS just keeps getting more and more rude with each fight and starts ignoring the tanks strategy on purpose. So me being the healer he dies a couple of times and lies there while we finish a mob or two. I keep him up on bosses though because it's a group thing.

Finally get to last boss and our good DPS says first time he has done this on vet. Tank explains what we need to do to get two keys. This group should get two keys easy. First attempt our problem child refuses to cooperate and insists on killing ads. We wipe on purpose because we want two keys. Tank tells the problem child we want two keys problem child says he doesn't care about keys quit wasting time. We wipe a couple of more times on purpose and realize nope this (bad words here) isn't going to let that happen. So we kill the boss get our one key then kick the problem child before moving on to the next pledge. It went smooth by the way. Fun part is our problem child spent most of the time it took us running our 2nd pledge to curse us using whispers. I decided not to ignore and he kept it up for a good solid hour.

    Was kinda fun reading what a real #*&#^@ $$(#& %(#& $(&@! I was/am.
and then the parrot said, "must be the water mines green too."

damm that guy was a problem child i love the fact how you were just reading the hate whispers in the end you should of replied " sorry you were saying something? i didn't pay attention we just finished the second pledge " :D

Today I was on my PVP Khajiit doing pledges, trying to get that undaunted level up.

The first dungeon was Veteran Direfrost Keep. I never found this dungeon to be difficult, the mechanics are very basic and very straight forward.

Our "healer" is a warden, with Dual-wield and Sword and board. I didn't find it a bother because again, I don't find this dungeon to be difficult and we clear all the content up to the final boss. The final boss takes 25 minutes!

The healer at the ends boasts a 6k DPS. I snidely remark that "that was the reason why I had to rely on self heal", implying that my DPS was lower than average at about 11.5k DPS (average is 15k DPS on my PVP'r, I know that's low regardless). The healer then says it's not his fault for not healing me when I run around... Now wait a minute, I'm a melee class which means the only time I move is to dodge those infamous red circles I keep hearing about. It was a pretty bad attempt to defend the bad healing. My final response is that if someone is going to try to be a healer, using the restoration staff does wonders for the role.

The tank thought it was funny, and jokingly added that his shields were amazing. Which they certainly did more than the healer's "heals" (only used the Secret Grove ultimate). The tank was honestly the only other good one since the other DPS died about a dozen times throughout the boss fight.

I don't mind what healers do, and if they are going to do DPS on a boss that doesnt' require much healing (like Direfrost Keep), then 6k is nothing worth boasting about, and probably should have focused on group buffs and enemy debuffs more.

On the topic of strange people, in a pug nWGT last boss with cp540 dd, cp 300dd, cp187 healer and me a cp500 tank.

Nobody bothered to kill the atronach which then one shoted me, cp300dd died to edge of the map from shockwaves, healer died to double lightning arcs. CP 540dd managed to kill it. When i asked why nobody killed the atronach, cp 540dd replies "why a tank dies in a dungeon". After explaining them about the one shot mechanic he proceeds with "get more hp", "my tank never died in wgt" "stop acting like my 5 year old". The cp187cp says "same" "you are salty" then tells me that he blocked me..
Like i did a mistake by explaining.......

Pugged vROM twice today. Yes, I know. Was on a healer with a great dps friend farming Amber so only so many things that could go wrong.

First run actually wait pretty smooth despite people being ~200 cp and no experience with vet version. Chudan first try, 3 wipes on Xal Nur, maybe 5 on last boss(no hm) as they were getting the gist of it down. They were not too awful and willing to listen and try so that was good.

Second group /facepalm Don't remember their cp, something like 200-400 range I think. Dps was alright, not too op but more or less knew what he was doing I suppose. Tank, oh god...he was wearing Ebon, had s&b, taunt and 25k+ health so could be worse, but he just DIDN'T LISTEN. He kept running ads out of all the aoes, seriously, I almost thought it was on purpose. Just as we'd nicely stack ads and drop all the ground dots and 2 destro ultis on them he'd happily run out of it all, pulling the ads with him. We asked him not to do it repeatedly and he even apologized I think but kept doing it. He also tried to claim he couldn't taunt shield guys. We managed to wipe on trash because I'd get 2 stoneshapers on me, dodge once, block+shield twice and then get rekt on third bash because in all the ~15 seconds I gave him he didn't bother to taunt at least one of them.

Already on Chudan I noticed him not using wings and me (was on sorc) having to spam Twilight heals to keep him up, so I asked him to slot wings but he did not.

We naturally wiped on last boss because of a lot of things, one of them was tank missing Chudan's special attacks and getting one shot repeatedly. He also kept turning her around which was just hilarious - the dps would nicely stack behind her butt and dps in supposed safety, tank would swiftly turn her around to them and get them both rekt by her heavy. I ask him to slot wings again, seeing he doesn't answer I ask if he has them at all, he doesn't answer and pulls. Wipe. This time because he suddenly decided tanking both in the middle without joining the rest of the group at statue is a bright idea(despite me typing in chat otherwise). Totem halfway along the room, rekt.

Me: Why didn't you stack with us this time?
Tank: But she was doing that aoe that'd kill you guys!
Dps: No, literally the only thing that killed us was NOT stacking...
    Me: Also please use wings
    Tank: What's that?
Me: A skill letting you reflect her poison back at her. Called Reflective Scales, looks like wings
Tank: But I don't have wings, I'm not a Warden
    /group facepalm moment

We convinced him to slot wings finally and he got one shot by poison twice anyway because didn't use them.

Tank: Can't I just block it like I did here last time on normal?

    /facepalm pause again

It took I think 3 more wipes to get down the idea of stacking. Seriously, I don't know why but people always have issues with it. I mean, what can be easier - you all stay together, follow crown, get all the heals/buffs, dps in same place...nope, must take boss to the middle of the room, not get any heals and die.

We finished it eventually but God was it painful :D

Oh, also neither of the tanks had chains and they didn't even have skillpoints to unlock them either. Seriously, what's up with this? I feel like people open up tanking guide, read first line - "DK make best tanks" and stop right there. It doesn't come to their mind DKs make such great tanks because of the skills they have access to. The amount of DK tanks that I see in pugs who wear heavy, run Ebon, s&b and taunt yet don't even know what chains/talons/wings are is honestly staggering.

Suppose it's more of a rant than a fun story but it is what it is :p

I want to preface this story by saying: I'm probably the ass in this situation.
I don't feel like I am, but some could view it that way.

My wife and I queued for a random normal just for the daily exp bonus. I was on my DPS, my Wife on her Healer. We ended up in Arx Corinium. The group was me 590cp DPS, my wife 630cp+ healer, Tank 630cp+, the other dps around 350cp. For the first pull you just kill a group in the center then move up, but the tank and other dps aggroed the full room, lurchers included. After the first pull, I had discovered that I hadn't done the quest. Not that big of a deal, talk to the npc and spam through the dialog.

The person who was playing tank kept saying in group chat, "To the boss" as he grabbed everything and pulled it along. Not a problem, I've done this before in randoms when I know that I can burn everything down. Except, he couldn't do that. Between my wife and I, we were pulling ~75% of the damage and I'm assuming the other dps was pulling the other ~20%. It's odd that the tank would be pulling like that without knowing the people in group, but okay.

Side note here, the tank was rushing through the dungeon so much that he wasn't letting me talk to the quest givers, it takes all of 2 seconds to target the npc and spam through the dialog. Unless you're in combat, which prevents you from interacting with anything. So I sat and waited to interact while he yelled "to the boss" and rushed on to the second boss.

On the second boss, he had managed to drag the third boss into her room. Again, odd but not that big of a deal. Burned screamer then the shocker. We continue on. Except the tank, who had been rushing this entire time, stopped to sell stuff w/o saying anything. I burn through the lurcher boss, telling my wife I just want to get this over with. We continued to burn the trash mobs toward the final boss.

The tank didn't catch up with us until the final boss room, at which he tells us, "looking for shield" just moments before I engage the boss(I waited for him to catch up, I'm not that cruel, not at this point in the story). At this point I just don't care anymore. Burned the boss down pretty quickly. As soon I auto-looted the boss, he links a shield and starts demanding it. Even ran up to me and initiated trade with me. PMing me after I dropped group and started begging me for it.

I think his conversation to me(not verbatim) went something along the lines of:
    (before boss)
    looking for shield
(literally what he said, no trait, no set, just shield)
    (after boss)
    *he links item in chat*
    that's the one I want
    trade it to me
(may have said please here, I don't remember)
    *initiates trade*
*I drop decline trade and drop group*
    (Whispers after I leave group)
That's the shield I am farming this dungeon for
    please give it to me
    *ignored*

The kicker to this story that makes me the ass, I got the shield he wanted in the trait that he wanted, and I vendored it. It was a Shield of Medusa with an impenetrable trait. I figured that he was just some pvper who was using randoms to carry him though Arx to grind him what he wanted. I couldn't tell if he and the other DPS were grouped, but I honestly didn't care: I was done with him and the dungeon. So done with him that I didn't finish the quest for the dungeon.

Would it have hurt me to give him the shield? Probably not. Do I regret not giving him the shield? No. I don't like being used like that. He was a horrible tank: he couldn't keep aggro worth a damn, couldn't deal damage worth a damn(Not that I expect a tank to deal damage, but I'm fairly certain he's a pvper, not a tank), could barely keep himself healed while he ran away from the group, and almost died several times. He didn't show any interest in talking to us, or telling us he wanted loot from the dungeon until after I got the drop that he wanted.

P.S: Don't use randoms to grind gear for you, ask for people who want to grind it too and share loot with them. I don't want to farm your equipment for you. If you ask nicely from the start, then maybe I'll trade some stuff to you at the end, but if you say nothing the whole dungeon except to demand a drop at the end, no way!

    Tank here.
Banished 2 was pledge some days ago.
All +400 cp and i queued for vet vesion, everything went smoothly with above average speed but nothing special until the last boss. It's right now bugged and the npcs can't leave the spawn place of boss, both in banished 1 and 2, only the boss in 2 can leave it since he randomy teleports in that arena.

I got lifted 3 times and cleared the curses of course. Then the healer got lifted once and he didn't cleared it.
Since i pvp from time to time and fashion > stats, i wear 5 piece orgnum with 1600 health regen so the boss couldn't kill me in any situation. I told him to clear his curse, throw caltroops at the red/blue areas, walked to it and said to go where i stand, no reaction. Situation wasn't stressful, i hold aggro easily and boss stayed away from the daedroths for now so he could have read it easily.
He run out of magicka at some point and died. Then one of the dps got lifted, i tried the same but without heals, he died quickly too.
I get lifted again and cleared the dot of course and also tried to revive the dead people, the last remaining dps was busy with his medicore dps anyway. They did not attempt to leave the daedroths range first and tried to dps the boss from range, they lasted seconds only, some time later after revives they go away, but died from curses. The last dps get lifted and no attempt to clear the dot either. Boss was still at 30% health and i tried to revive people/explain the mechanics over and over again for 10 minutes. I gave up and dpsed the boss alone with my pitiful damage.

Boss dead, one dps leaves the group immediatly before i tried to explain that simple mechanic again in even greater detail. The other dps and healer finally spoke and said they would remember that stuff for the next time...
