My husband and I play twin sisters and I give all my character the biggest breasts possible, it helps deflect arrows, and swords bounce off your t.i.t.s. They make great tank gear....

I think they should unlock the sliders a bit more for a number of attributes.

I was trying to make a short fat bald dude who was going to be a drunken tradesmen but the sliders only allow so much on the short and fat side.

Looks like we got a time traveler from 1990 here. Are you actually saying with a straight face that more MALES play female characters than actual women? Wow.

I'm here to wake up the ignorant males who once again forget that tons of women DO play this game. I do not create male characters because I want to look at a "cute" male. Doesn't even occur to me. I'm a girl and I want to play as my gender. I know some females do want male characters so they don't get harassed in game or just as a preference

Please remember it's the 21st century. Please cure yourselves of EOMD, you know that dreaded internet disease where inexplicably males (and females) for no reason think that ONLY men play online and think MOSTLY men play. Don't embarrass yourselves.

Anyway, I don't want to see big breasted NPC'S. I really don't. I know some do but I would prefer SOME VARIETY please devs. I long for games where we don't have to see the same clichés where female characters are walking around [snip] with hardly anything on while males are always covered. Really??

As I recall, the statistic is, about 15% of players, roll up characters of the opposite sex. It's been awhile, but I don't remember there being much of a gender bias on that, either. Women are (roughly) as likely to create male characters, as men are to roll up female ones. The statistic I don't remember at all is, what percentage exclusively play members of the opposite sex. I know I've seen it, but I don't remember the statistic.

EDIT: Incidentally, those are not statistics for ESO, they're general stats for video games in general.

    [snip]

I'm just particular about the aesthetics of my characters. For instance I tend play rogue-esque ones and the more roguishly designed gear looks better on females.

Sometimes it is simply the proportions of one genders that turns me off. In Destiny I didn't like the overly wide shoulders of the male hunters or the too slender frame of the female titans.

In the Mass Effect trilogy I went femshep because Jennifer Hale was the better voice actor.

The only butt related decision I made was in Fallout 3 because the male character ran awkwardly in third person compared to the female.

There are many reasons for picking one gender over the other, and personally I find them more varied than "You gay for gazing at man-butt."

I have honestly never noticed this. My character has max breasts and hips and pretty much every NPC I see is far less curvy than she is.

Have to say, not noticed this in the game with npcs. Big breasts? Really? Of all the things to complain about......really?

Actually think ESO is rather good at NOT having over-sexualised female charactes - better than most. If players choose yo make their characters like that.......that's their choice. One of my girls is stacked, one is a rather terrifyingly butch amazon. The other is a Khajiit. But all my boys are pretty. ;)

I'm a guy and i completely disagree with how all women ingame have big breasts. It's not natural, it's boring to see just big boobs everywhere. I'd prefer a more natural variety but then again i just like average women irl as well.

Not to mention this stuff is everywhere now. TV, art, social media. It's really not nice anymore. I'm only glad we don't have *** ingame, they'd all be centered and fake lol. Ladies, if you're ones with not perfect or large breasts, don't let this stupid thing go to your head. You're all beautiful.

My elf's cup size is very early in the alphabet. She's also quite scrawny and short petite. So every NPC of her gender looks rather voluptuous to her. Lol.

Actually it would be nice to have naked chip n' Dale's looking boshi boy's in game.... It is mother's day, let's give something for us mom's to look at.
Making a good looking make character in game is not easy. Most of the sliders for the face and depending on race makes it all most impossible to make a cute guy :'(

I can do an imperial pretty good-looking. And some Nords... But the rest of the races look like angry Neanderthals.

Though I can make a cool looking old Gandolf the grey with the Bretons.

Why do all the female NPC's in the game have large breasts? Even Argonian females have them when they should not have any at all. :*

Every female Argonian NPC I've seen barely has any breasts to speak of, much less large ones.

same. I also want to see some evidence for the OP's claim. IIRC argonian females have breasts in every TES game; sounds like they're meant to have breasts. I've never seen anything in any TES game that means for them to have none.
a lot of people come into the TES series and question this because they think that argonians are "reptiles" when 1-just because they resemble reptiles, doesn't mean they are and 2-TES doesn't take place on Earth, so "reptiles" in Earth's sense don't necessarily exist and likewise nothing is held in Earth's boundaries

The ignorance is strong in this one. I know countless females who make big breasted characters. And makes such as my self who keep the slider on the low side. So don't go gender stereotype on us. Get evidence before making such a claim.

The thing I fine most strange is that anyone even notices stuff like this at all. I'm a straight make and I don't think I've ever bothered to actually look at an NPC or review how they look and I've got around 2000 hours into the game.

Maybe I'm the odd one but from my view if you don't walk around deliberately reviewing how NPC's look you're not gonna notice anything.

Maybe OP is right and there does need to be more breast diversity, maybe not but bringing up something like this also leads to why aren't more Male and Female NPC's fat / overweight as most are in peak physical condition where in the real would most people aren't and everything just get's out of hand from there.

In certain suits of armor, usually medium and light (occasionally a few heavy pieces) I admit they do look kind of busty. Nothing huge or extraordinary though. I think my main is close to the top end of the slider for the bust department, but they don't stand out as huge. NPC's though I've seen a wide range of small to medium and the occasional large. Others though I've had to kind of look because... Well for lack of a better term, they look flat.

I've also noticed that despite my main being rather busty in her equipment, they seem to reduce in size drastically when she isn't wearing anything and is in her underwear. (I swear I was just upgrading my armor...)

Bosmer women are not all that buxom. Not most of them, at least. In any case, some are not. I think.

I think the Bosmer women are meant to be rough and tumble woodsy tomboys. They embue the more masculan outdoorsmen race. I believe that's also why so many of them have the course English commoner/working-class accents.
