If early access also includes base game nerfs! Then it not worth much!

At least give us more CP each patch, I honestly hate being automatically at cap with nothing to work toward.

What I don't get is the CP cap is 600 but the item level cap is 160? That's a pretty big difference.

Before you bite my head off, no I don't want them to up the levels on current items. (That would not be cool at all)

But, maybe in Morrowind or future content, have rare and / or unique items with much higher CP requirement. Need some godly max CP items that reward people that have invested a lot of time into the game.

That's representaion of old veteran ranks system. Previously You had to get lv 50 and then You had 10/12/14/16 veteran ranks to level up. When they introduced CP's max vet rank was 14 then they increased it to 16 and then they connected CP's and veteran ranks into 1 thing so You dont have to lv up each single one new character again and again if You want to have multiple characters. 16 veteran ranks=160 cp. CP requirements for gear and cp cap are 2 separate things. 1st cp cap was 501 then 531 , 561 , 600 and with morrowind 630. They're increasing CP cap but stay at old veteran 16 gear requirements. Propably they'll increase gear lv up to cp 180 in the future.

The non-CP campaign is the most balanced one where you can actually have fun.

In my opinion, more CP is more opportunity for imbalance.

If they are making this change to balance out the CP a bit, why would they remove the cap?

Zos will not do that. They learned their lesson not long after launch that a 3600 point system without a cap was bad for the game. They are reducing the CP benefits because the current setup it to powerful as it is.

They need to completely re do the cp system and make a true AS system. The cp system is a shallow broken passive pool with no real game enhancement. It is basically the VR system with out the the hard locks.

    • Get rid of the flat increases to your stats. No more putting 1 - 100 pts into resistances, crit, etc.
    • Turn the Champion System into a passive talent system, where you can pick 4 passives from each constellation (30 different passives per constellation, but only 4 can active at once -- think of it like your skills: you can purchase them all with skyshards, but you can only slot 6 per bar).
    • Structure the talents in such a way that, for example: you can have really high stam regen OR you can remove the stacking roll-dodge cost, but you can't have both.
    • Turn Champion points into a currency that's used for respecing one talent at a time. Assuming you had 600 champion points stored up you could completely swap out 36 passives (4 talents x 9 constellations) 16 times before you'd have to go grind out more.
    • There would no longer be a need to slow down the rate at which you gain points, no cap needed either.
Really we do it without like, the musical instruments. This is the only musical: the mouth. And hopefully the brain attached to the mouth. Right? The brain, more important than the mouth, is the brain. The brain is much more important.

Here's the thing. The incoming nerfs are not nearly as severe as some people are saying. The reason people are talking about how severe the incoming nerfs are is because they affect 4 specific stars, which interact in a very abusive way (basically making it far easier to maintain resources indefinitely). Two of those are being removed, and the other two are being nerfed from 25% to 15%. Lower CP players will experience less of that nerf, but that doesn't mean there isn't still going to be a significant power difference between a player with CR0 or CR10, and one with CR630.

. We have the exact numbers on just how severe they are. None of it is made up. There is no acting.

Completely removing cost reduction from cp, removing 10% regen. Those are just 2 of the many nerfs being slung out.

If we didn't have exact numbers on the nerfs then maybe we could say people are only acting like these nerfs are severe. But that is not the case.

Things are being nerfed hard, there is no wiggle room. Also I don't think many are paying attention to how they are front loading the champion points.

For what do we play the game anymore if we do not get any progress after 600CP ?

Its the same question for dynamic ultimate, something that plays well with the system, gets capped or removed from the game because the difference between beeing average and hardcore players increases. What is bad on that one, nothing!

I invest time and effort to the game, the get more powerfull. Others playing the game 12 hours a week and complain to be not COMPETITIVE enough. I can just laugh about that one, because its wrong.

New players always will suck at any game and 3-years old players should get their advantage by playing the game, that's called BALANCED.

That'd also reset the grind to get good gear - big NO NO.

Actually it wouldn't. It would if they increased the CP GEAR CAP, but I don't think OP is talking about that. I don't think the cap should be removed all together and they are already increasing it from 600 to 630. I'm just not sure 30 points is enough to make up for how much harder PVE just got. Plus this only helps the people already above 600. For newer players that are somewhere between 10 and 600 this wouldn't help right away, but it would give people an incentive to keep playing.

Ultimately I don't ever want to see the gear cap increased and doing that now would probably cause a riot, but I think raising the cap is a good idea and wouldn't mind seeing it raised even higher...say to 700.

People claim this crap everytime an update will hit the live-server, yet it only got easier every time. Will be the same with the next update i guess.
