but what if he has done it many time before.?From my understanding, ZOS don't make those calls but their support (who are potentially and outsourced company) do.bloodthirstyvampire wrote: »ZOS_GinaBruno gina would you guys really ban a player for this
I doubt the support would be this stupid, but then again...

Even so, it's fair game unless it specifically has his name on it. I don't understand how you can steal xp and further how that's a reportable offence.

They probably think it's something like Black Desert where only one player will get XP from killing a mob.
I read that as 'noob', and laid out the pvp rules, but everyone now gets xp from the hit. You just have to do the most damage to get the 'loot'.

Marge Simpson has a phrase for people like that: "Stupid is, as stupid does."

That's why I keep getting the loot. lol. I see one or two players having a hard time with one mob and I just walk up and kill it quickly.

Does it really work that way? Because I was running around when a small group asked me to join and we had some fun killing Sabre cats, I was lvl 47 then, and they were way further than I was, a CP 250 and a CP600, We just all got loot from the cats. I had expert Clean Pelt collector in a few minutes
This reminds me of me and my bosses favorite quote, "You can't fix stupid!"
I also love it how these type of people think they OWN or can CLAIM a certain area... as if it's a single player game or something. I also believe that ZOS takes action against players who abuse the 'report' feature.

1 person attacking monster -> 100% exp
2 people attacking monster in group -> 110% exp
3 people and more attacking monster no matter if grouped or not -> <50% exp
So yeah, if I was settled down in a grind spot with a friend and suddenly a third person would come I would be pretty pissed off too. Especially when they pull off that *** argument "its not your place, if you don't like me here go somewhere else".
Somehow in ESO, grind spot etiquette is dead. I've experienced it many times, even after I explained thoroughly to someone why his presence in grind spot is making everyone around lose experience they would stay there deliberately which would turn into borderline harassment.
Its an universal, long standing rule, both in real life and in gaming "first come first served". There are practical reasons behind why to follow it, yet it's so hard for some to understand, or maybe it's just that some ESO players are too just entitled to have everything the way they want so much they will ignore any historical/unspoken/traditonal rules.
Just pile up in single grind spot and harass a group who was there first, mocking them "you don't own place", "go somewhere else", "this is public place" while they continue to get 50% of base experience...

Are you sure that the people like OP are the entitled ones? :^)

Where did Zenimax/Bethesda tell these numbers, please?
Why should grouping up in a duo be so much better than in a trio? May be, the 110% are meant for "Mara"-duos only?
