The universe may just have done you a huge favour.
Wait until it goes live, see all the despair that will occur and, once the NDA is lifted, how literally thousands of players tried to help ZoS avoid this impending train-wreck.
Then decide of you even want to buy it.

Can't tell if serious or not.
People that actually enjoy the game will adapt to any of the changes. People who just stay to whine might actually leave which will be blessing.

they should include warden in the base at least, not being able to play warden- but still play against them would be weird for base game players. the pricing is also strange- the expansion being twitce the price of the base game- but thats another topic already ground to the ground.

Might have something to do with it being a stand alone release. You can buy Morrowind instead of buying the base game. Or, you can buy it digitally as an upgrade, and get a discount.

I am personally waiting to get it because I still have Caldwell's Silver and Gold to complete as well as Wrothgar. I figure I will just keep questing and get Morrowind after I get through those. By that time maybe Vvardenfel won't be so crowded with people too.
Do i get this right? If i dont buy Morrowind i am not able to play a warden?

Very serious.
I've enjoyed every moment of my time playing ESO over the last 5 or so months, so much so that I subbed right through that period, and purchased Crowns for a Homestead. I thoroughly enjoyed it, enough that some times I was logging 30 hours a week playtime (when work permitted).
I've played the PTS, and I tell you now that after you have adapted to the changes there is no fun left.
Having to use a Hvy Attack every second or third action to avoid running out of resources isn't fun, it destroys the fast paced combat that made ESO enjoyable, and it 100% destroys any hope of genuine build/rotation diversity.
Gandrhulf_Harbard wrote: »I want to stay playing ESO, I've made some great friends in the Guild I am in, and would really miss them if we were no longer able to play ESO together. But well over 50% of my guild has already left - thanks to the appalling state of gameplay (there really isn't any to be honest) on the PTS.
I want to be able to justify my Monthly Sub, and I really, really wanted to join the hype-train for Morrowind (heck at one point I was one click away from buying the Morrowind Collector's Edition).
Gandrhulf_Harbard wrote: »But the truth is to justify that outlay I need to be having fun, and I need to feel that my custom is valued - when Morrowind goes live ESO will be delivering neither of those things.
And to your final point, people who claim that other players leaving will be a blessing really do deserve everything they will get - which is closed down game servers.
Gandrhulf_Harbard wrote: »ESO needs players. And if my experience, and the experiences we see written about on the PTS forums are in any way representative of what is about to happen then ESO is heading for a disaster. Over 50% of my guild no longer plays, on the PTS forums there a Guild Leaders reporting that upto 90% of their guilds are no longer playing ESO.
Gandrhulf_Harbard wrote: »Ask yourself this question: how long can ESO really survive if that is replicated across the whole playerbase?
Gandrhulf_Harbard wrote: »PS: I want ESO and Morrowind to be successful, because that way I get to continue playing a game I really like with people I like playing ESO with; but I genuinely believe that Morrowind is NOT going to make ESO successful, it will make it a laughing stock of the MMORPG industry.
An IP so beloved by gamers that half the MMORPG gamers on the planet should be crawling over broken glass to get their hands on Morrowind; and what does ZoS deliver - a game so bad that even the most ardent fans of the franchise have asked for, and received, their pre-order monies back.

No, he's serious. He's even posted on the SWtOR forums that ESO is the new NGE.

Correct.
You have to buy Morrowind to play Warden and to access Vvardenfell, or to use the new PvP Battlegrounds (which are quite fun BTW), and the new Trial (Halls Of fabrication).

This is my biggest problem with this DLC. You should not have to buy it to get the new class, IMHO. All the rest, fine, but the class should open to everyone.
Yup, as Bouldercleave said you're correct.
You will still get the base game patch (balance changes, bug fixes etc) but you won't have access to any new content.
Morrowind grants the following.
- Vvardenfel island and story.
- Battlegrounds
- Warden Class
- Halls of Fabrication (trial)
