The time before Any Race Any Alliance. Srs that messed up the whole faction war lore. As another person put it, "Why would the AD crown a Human Emperor?" as discussing the lore-breaking that is any race any alliance (Imperials aside).

Oh. And the hype for spell crafting being a thing.

Any race any alliance has been in the game since it came out :)

I remember the good ol' times of beta.
Norion Germain - Telvanni Wizard, Covenant Battle Mage, Mage's Guild Magister, Resident of Daggerfall Overlook, Lord of Tel Galen, Psijic Monk, Antiquarian, Breton Scholar, and Traveler.

First thing I thought of. Invisibility AND DoT removal, and it actually worked. Every single time.

    sigh
Classes that don't need any class ability nerfs: Nightblades, Dragonknights, Sorcs, Templars, Wardens.

Old days when no one knew what to do, people used to wear only quest/white items, there was no grind, finding a Veteran person was rare, vampirism was only a dream, 10k gold was a lot and everything felt like a mistery. I miss those days only because I used to feel more equal to everyone as no one knew what to do and everything was a surprise.

Haha. Reminds of going into Cyrodiil for the first time back in 2014. Two large groups of players at Alessia bridge, standing around eyeing each other and no one wanting to fire the first shot.

The days before Angry Joe told the sheep they weren't suppose to like the game....that was nice.

Seriously though...I like the game as is, I don't have any misty eyed memories of how things were, I log in and have a blast with my friends.....can't say that about any other MMo Iv'e played lately.

He was right on all accounts, plus his "angry army" was 500 strong
On that note. Id like to go back to pre lighting patch where u could get that many players on screen on opposing sides and have minimal lag. Think about those poor deer and lightning bugs!

    Yeah...no.

AJ is basically a immature Jerk that is guilty of a lot of the things he accuses other streamers of, and his so called Army is famous for invading forums with mindless hate to "prove" how much Joe's opinion matters. We see a lot of that here on these very forums and it's all driven by cash.

Joe's deal with ESO had more to do with him being pissed that Bethesda didn't do more Skyrim than anything else. Joe was so pissed that there wasn't more Skyrim that he refused to do another review even after ZoS addressed many of the issues.

But whatever I know he has caused more than one developer grief, I just see it eventually ending badly for him.

His issues were being invis to his groupmates bc they were on different parts of the quest. Also one of his major gripes was fixed by tam1. Sounds like u got a personal issue with him. But he said it true when it came to eso back when he reviewed it - within the first few months. Another issue he had was the dupe bug that went live from beta

Those are specific things he cried about...and in hindsight were pretty minor, especially when you look back at three pages of show stopper bugs when wow launched. The impetus behind all of it was his being pissed because no more Skyrim, and he has certain financial interest in other developers. Most other reviewers at the time Agreed with IGN's tough but fair review and blatantly said AJ had ulterior motives.
