For me I'd have to say it was the huge fights that took place in the Arena district before they changed the spawn rules when they added flags to the districts. Sometimes as many as 30-40 people on each side, pushing back and forth, pinning each other up on our platforms and being able to spawn right back into the fight instantly after you died. Almost all day every day it was a continuous scrum of glorious chaos.

1.5 dungeons. These glorious days when Praxin was harder than/about as hard as vet ROM hm and one did not simply pug vet Spindle. And oh the glorious Banished cells and the-boss-whose-name-I-don't-even-remember-anymore that was actually a true dps check, not a do-it-while-eating-sandwich kind of thing. There was actual skill and teamwork involved in doing those back then, and because of whole UD thing being introduced the hype was real too, even PvP only people started running dungeons and enjoyed them for the challenge they were...and now it's just oh so sad in comparison :(

Reading to the forums for fun.. Oh, wait, that never happened... ever.
Power level to CP160 in a week:
Where is the end game? You just played it.
Why don't I have 300+ skill points? Because you skipped content along the way.
    Where is new content? Sigh.

Old days when no one knew what to do, people used to wear only quest/white items, there was no grind, finding a Veteran person was rare, vampirism was only a dream, 10k gold was a lot and everything felt like a mistery. I miss those days only because I used to feel more equal to everyone as no one knew what to do and everything was a surprise.

ZOS can comply with Brazil's legislation and still sell crown crates to adults.

I miss when dungeon content was hard as stated above. Think the most fun I was having was back in the VR14 days when doing the vet dungeons (now the #2 versions) would take teamwork and skill to finish.
Now it is just pump out DPS and win.

Good Ole Praxin :) Most people couldn't get past the first wave of spiders. I remember our healer standing on that little broken column so she could live long enough to heal the tank!

I miss dragon leaping into keeps during a fight. Too many cheaters and cry babies ruined it. I still feel that if you come to the edge to shoot at me I should be able to leap up to you!

I don't miss anything, the game keeps improving for me - although it was pretty decent at the outset, I don't buy into the claim that it was terrible at launch.

He was right on all accounts, plus his "angry army" was 500 strong
On that note. Id like to go back to pre lighting patch where u could get that many players on screen on opposing sides and have minimal lag. Think about those poor deer and lightning bugs!

    Yeah...no.

AJ is basically a immature Jerk that is guilty of a lot of the things he accuses other streamers of, and his so called Army is famous for invading forums with mindless hate to "prove" how much Joe's opinion matters. We see a lot of that here on these very forums and it's all driven by cash.

Joe's deal with ESO had more to do with him being pissed that Bethesda didn't do more Skyrim than anything else. Joe was so pissed that there wasn't more Skyrim that he refused to do another review even after ZoS addressed many of the issues.

But whatever I know he has caused more than one developer grief, I just see it eventually ending badly for him.

Softcaps, "hundreds" of players on screen actually being a thing. Less disgusting marketing and micro-pay.

I miss being able to stick emote animations while walking.

I miss the funny tumbling animation break that used to happen when you blocked and jumped down from a high place. The one where your bottom half would roll, but not your top half.

I miss the times I looked forward to the next patch for new content and not be cowed by the incoming flood of power-creep wrangling nerfs.

I miss when nerfs weren't referred to as conditional buffs.

I miss when ZoS Developers reached out to and talked with their games community.

I never got to try them out before they were changed, but I used to hear about how much harder Dolmens were in the early days. So difficult that you wouldn't honestly try to solo one of them. I would have loved to try that. Now they're reduce to Dolmen trains that people use to grind from 1~50 :/ So many Dolmen babies... I actually feel my face scrunch up in revulsion when I see a CP160-ish character running around with the Daedric Lord Slayer title... But I digress...

    Bring back challenging Dolmens!!

That or if you killed the wrong mini boss first and he came out of invulnerable mode you knew it was going to be a wipe.
