5. Increase cost of mines but 15% and reduce the damage by 50%. These mines hit like a *** truck and it blows my mind that an ability this strong is in the game. Way too many terribad sorcs just sit in their mines and get carried by them. L2P
6. Reduce the damage of Eye of the Storm by 25%. Yes, I know this isn't a sorc ability, but it's way too *** strong and so many awful sorcs get carried by this ability. This is also a zerg player's best friend so please nerf the *** out of this morph.
7. Increase the cast time of Dark Deal to 2 seconds and reduce it's effectiveness by 25%. This ability is so ridiculous and is way too strong right now. It allows awful sorcs to have endless resources, and with the resource changes next patch, you can't have this strong of an ability to stay the way it is.
Make these changes and mag sorc will be inline with all the other classes and we will see less players being carried by their class and broken abilities. I've played this game since launch, and I'm fed up with these sorcs and ZOS really has to do something about it. I'm probably the best magnb in the game, and nobody can touch me in a duel, especially on the PC NA server. I'm not some *** pug thats bad at the game, I'm a veteran that knows the changes that need to be made with this broken class. Cmon ZOS, I'm believing you will make these changes.

Should you not play what you enjoy? There are clear weaknesses in a msorc and things that they cannot do that all stam can. Why do you think those top tier players are stam and stick to stam?
I play stamdk, stam nb and I have magplars. I enjoy playing them every now and again and I do just fine on them. Easier for me to 1vx on stamdk than msorc tbh.
What if I duel you on something other than msorc, will you come forth then?

I can only agree with a couple things here. Yes, shields are a bit OP, imo sorcs should not be able to tank, and most cant. But often enough you run into one that can hold off 6+ players simply by shield spamming.
Crystal frags, yes this hits way too hard for a move that also disables you. Sure you can dodge roll, or should be able to, but performance is way to horrible in cyro for that to be reliable. So unless youre running miats pvp alerts and have no lag then no luck. But a basic ability should not be able to hit for 18K or more. No other attacks hit this hard except for ultimates, unless maybe some gank builds but theyre squishy as a beached fishy.
Edit: Imagine if DK's stone fist hit as hard as crystal frags, people would be having a fit.

I agree with shield stacking and destruction staff ultimate being a little too powerful.
But for tanking,I tend to see DK and Templars holding off many people and having no problem. I see sorcerers do that too, but quite less often. Sorcerers mainly TP to survive (which is boring too but is a kind of gameplay). The only class that seems truely squishy is nightblade (if they cant cloak to escape).
Frag damage down to 10% instead of 25% seem like a reasonable nerf to PVP but time will tell. My only concern is that it will nerf non PET PVE builds. Im bored with PET builds and dont play sorc anymore for that reason and the fact that many people are playing them now. I used to play Sorcerer when they were not in a good place (few patches ago) and very few people played them.
Now I enjoy playing DK and other classes. Playing other classes helped me to understand many things about their gameplay, strength and weaknesses.
The only issue with Sorcs is shields—it's only ever been shields. People (Like OP) are either totally lost, or are just so terrible at the game that they can't even pick up on what the real issue with the class is. The answer was not nerfing duration—the answer is to rework how shields work from a fundamental level and give Sorcs a heal. Damage shields as we know them shouldn't even be in the game—maybe they should provide a buff which reduces damage and increases healing for a short time—combine that with a decent class heal. The formula for how healing should work is in the game already—and that's Stambuilds/MagDK—there's no reason for another method of healing that circumvents things like Major/Minor defile, critting etc.
Edit: My MagSorc is AvA 17, My MagDK is AvA 42—I'm hardly a "Tribad" who's maining magsorc.
