I have no data or verifiable proof but in my own experiences it seems like the drop rate has diminished since the anniversary event. I wish there were more ways to accumulate writ vouchers!

Yep, I have about 90% of the motif chapters, pretty high achievement points and have only received one crafting master writ sense the anniversary event ended. I think there is more too the RNG than just achievement points, probably some kind of cool down timer. Like one master writ will drop for each profession for each alliance and then there will be a 5-10 minute cool down period were no master writs will drop. Add that on top of so many more people doing the dailies.

That's what it feels like. I've had exactly one gold master writ since Homestead and these days it's all 2-voucher Enchantments and not much else.

Hey, does anyone have an idea on how they drop? I have 6 crafters maxed but not research and no uncommon motifs on 5 I do all my non-daily writ crafting on 1 but it seems like they drop more for my mastercrafter that has motifs and all the research.

I have 6 toon I do crafting on and I get about 3-7 every day so are trash but some are good but NEVER have I ever gotten a writ over 160 but have seen writs for 250+ and I want those

i have only ever gotten 2 voucher writs until this morning i got one for 46

EDIT: ill add i only do writs a couple times a week on my main crafter and have not done one for 3 weeks until today

I had a good week about a month nack where I got 3-4 high value m writs, but usually its alchemy and enchanting 2-6 writ voucher writs per week. One character

I must be one of the lucky ones because I get at least one master writ every day but they are also very low ones lately though.

No change noticed here, but I do complete 45 max level crafting writs every day across 8 characters (7x6, 1x3). My average is about 3 MWs a day, so if I was doing them on only one character a day it would not surprise me to go several days without any.

Drops are very much random - I only got 1 MW the other day but it was worth 52, then 3 the next worth a total of 9, followed by 3 again, but worth 50, 81 and 2. The most MW,s I have ever received in a day is 8, the least is none. I went past the 3000 voucher mark yesterday (since Homestead came to console on 21 Feb) and I have never bought any.

Luck may play a part but persistence and dedication come into it as well. When Homestead dropped I already had a 9 trait and an 8 trait crafter and all other characters were level 50 in every craft. Since the day Homestead dropped, all of my other characters have been busy researching traits, using all 3 research slots in every craft.

So maybe I have more luck than most but I have put a heck of a lot of work into crafting.

Whats going on with them?

I've gotten more master writs the past few days than the past few weeks combined. However I'm only getting ones worth 2 to 5 vouchers.

I have noticed in the past that my one character who is only level 50 in crafts ( doesn't know many motifs or recipes) gets way more master writs than my master crafter.

all the guild stores are up to their ass in writs, even noticed a few that had high number of tags around 160 selling for under 2-1, and has been fs for weeks

2k per is overpriced now - I sold a 151 voucher writ last week for 210k and an 80 voucher writ the other day for 120k. Both sat in the guild store for a couple of days before being sold. Smaller ones bring in less than 1.5k per voucher now.

Had someone in zone chat seeking only 50+ voucher writs the other day but refused to even offer 1k per voucher. Offered me 320k, then 360k for about 6 MWs worth about 460 vouchers - I held onto them. I now only sell the MWs I do not have the motifs for.

I have not gotten a master writ since the anniversary event.
