I think VMA should have some option that
if u want u should be able to make SOLO
if u want DUO
If u WANT for people...
when u want to go solo go solo..
when u dont have enough people go 2 people
when u have friend and try to have fun go 4 people...
and the level of hardness and easiness should scale how many people u are going in...

I would love to get to use my support character to help someone. [Or my dps to complete it even faster with someone to work with. I'm among the no sharpened fire staff crowd. ]
I also have some friends who don't want to do a frustrating solo arena in the limited time they get to play. I would love to help them for a shot at getting them a weapon.
This would be interesting, but only if you would not be able to get maelstorm weapons. Some other reward would be nice, but nothing OP. I think duo MA would be fun, especially when leveling alts.

1...ew.
2- I support the idea having completed in stamplar and stamblade. It ain't about "being hard".
3- I'd love to run with my buddies in an MMO.
I say we either hAve a seperate leaderboard for pairs or just don't score it, otherwise everything's the same.

Fully respect solo VMA. Currently stuck on Stage 9, atm, personally. That should remain in place as kind of the game's gold standard for solo/arena content.
That being said, an MMO, to me anyway, should be looking for ways to foster more and varied group play content and a two-person arena would achieve that in some respects.
