@ZOS_CoriJ Another thread about the white-robed people on PS4 NA. Already degrading into a toxic thread meant to hate those who are not vehemently shaming the ppl involved

Both of those groups deserved the permabans imo

You don't suppose this is, somehow, to that earlier thread where people were defending them, because they're high profile raiders, and should deserve a break, because purging those dozen players from the game would set the dominoes in motion, leading to the collapse of western civilization, do you?
I won't go into specifics or name ppl. Despite what these players did or what stance you take based on their situation, what you've said here is exactly what happened. They had a lot of haters, especially because they maintained rank #1 leaderboards since Vet trials were introduced.

It's just sad overall how this toxicity has infected the endgame PvE crowd now. Hurts the already small community a bit when such big figures leave, as all of them helped progression runs often and were part of the theoretical 0.1%. With Morrowind looking to really hurt endgame PvE.... idk. It all just sucks

This happened before? Was it on PC?

I had a couple questions about what happened and they have been answered now so it was very helpful to me.
Civilization will collapse with or without this thread
Nah, man. I wholeheartedly agree with you regarding hate-whispers you were receiving, and this shouldn't actually happen. What I do not agree with, however, is the approach trying to sneak the idea that "maybe nothing really happened" on NA server and that "it's just a white robe" etc.Were you taking a jab at meI'm not commenting on what happened. Only talking about the after-effect that has taken place on PS4 NA.
People whispering/reporting over only wearing white robes is crazy, but that's the unfortunate situation now after this event.

If there's a terrorist attack in a city and a global social chain-reaction afterwards then maybe wearing almost identical clothes and style as the aggresors the very next day isn't the best idea? Or is it? Outfit is indirect way of social communication and attribution, and while it is utterly subjective, you can't prevent it from happening. This is again common sense and basic social skills.

This just reads to me that way, sorry. They just were banned because they were #1 on leaderboards. Nothing else.
There's no conspiracy and no personal remark here as similar situation may happen/apply to literally anyone. What I did was digging into why it is like that and how the reactions basing on player's outfit correlate with what is imprinted in social consciousness on reaction level - be it local or global. My personal opinion doesn't really matter in this situation and there's no need to go hostile. I also believe I supported your view on getting hate-whispers. If getting to the bottom of why is this possibly happening is somehow offensive to you then I'm sorry.Nah, man. Umm..... I'm confused with what your "spoiler" tag showed. I just made that comment in this very thread and it in no way referred to the event itself. This was very clear just by reading the small part you quoted, even without the large chunk you conveniently left out.
Don't try to spin something so blatantly obvious in its meaning to fabricate a conspiracy. Do you have nothing better to do?

Yeah, PC/EU. I thought that's what we were talking about. I didn't know about a PS4 incident.

Yeah it happened on PC/NA as well. Didn't know about the PC/EU one.

@Vaoh
Well. Blame is on the #1 top raiders then. Ofc after such an occurrence everyone would be extra watchful. I just don't get what you are complaining about. If you personally get harassed then report those people.

Good to know. I'll try to keep myself off the leaderboard then.
