Why do you/don't you want the Lilmothiit race in the game as a playable race?

Nah, because as witnessed by the incoming warden class, ZoS would only hammer the rest of the races to make any future crown store or "expansion" race an attractive proposition.

That's ignoring all the lore and whatnot. i'll leave that for others to have a meltdown over.

Imperial race was pay gated from the start, so that has always been a ZeniMax move. As per classes getting beat down, I really don't believe it was to sell the Warden. I think they just have a vision of where the game needs to be and it isn't there. With One Tamriel armor set availability and them handing out Champion Points like candy, they let the game spin a little bit out of control in certain scenarios. (This does not mean I am fan buying them or in agreance with the implementation or handling of them. I just don't think the tin foil hat argument holds weight in this case.)

As per adding another race to the game, I don't think adding a race that is intentionally limited or small in the lore is a good idea. This coming from somebody who does overly care about lore, and care more about gameplay. If they add another race, I think it would be better to add something with presence in this game and the lore as a whole. Perhaps the Maomer.

The one exception I could see, to adding minor races, would be some of the other Khajiit breeds. Even then, I'd be a little surprised. Technically that wouldn't be a new race, per say, but still.

Having other Khajiit breeds available would be more lore friendly than any TES game has ever been, I think. That would be impressive
If you quote someone, and intend for them to see what you have said, be sure to Mention them with @[insert name].

Actually not a bad thought on the subject, at all.

I don't see a problem with adding in a race that is presumably extinct. The only lore we get and know of is what the games provide us with.

So what if most of tamriel thinks the lilmothiit are extinct? Have any of those npcs that told you that or wrote the books dug deep into the treacherous swamps of argonia?

How do we know a whole tribe or two didn't survive? And how do we know if a necromancer did or did not trap one of their souls and made them striven?

If you haven't noticed the npcs treat us like we are all one collective person. There isn't thousands of people from enemy alliances that all slayed molag Val running around.

They consider us one person. One vestige. So who's to say that vestige wasn't a lilmothiit.

And for that matter who's to say the vestige wasn't a maormer or an imga?

Where the hell is this even coming from? Was this mentioned on an ESO live or something?

Super random post seems to be super random

It's called being curious of things outside the normal complaining. The forums is packed with warden this, buff that, nerf that, the game is dead, I quit and so on. We can talk about something else can't we?

i mean sure take a nasty tone when i was just wondering what this was about lol

I think we have enough races. That being said if Zos and Bethesda found a way to introduce a new race within the lore then it doesn't matter how I feel.

Fact is we don't know a whole lot about the Lilmothiit or if they are presumed extinct or confirmed extinct. The recent news about Tasmanian tiger sightings come to mind. They have been extinct since what 1930s? Hope it turns out they are not extinct.

Also we have populations leaving their homelands, Yokuda and Atmora, and coming to Tamriel, is it really that impossible to believe that some populations may have left Tamriel, because of a deadly flu, only to return later?

I think the Lilmothiit could be reintroduced fairly easily. Do we need them? Nah. Am I against them being added? Nah. :)

No, because they should fix some classes before launching more.

Too bad that's not what you just said. "Where the hell is this even coming from? " Sounds less like a question and more of a demand.

"Super random post seems to be super random " Isn't much better.
    Hoping for more playable races

Someone should have taught you that, "you attract more enraged protestors with vinagar than with honey..." or something like that.
