Have vampirism but no quest

I contracted vampirism and can see it in my status, but I never got the option for a quest and never saw the NPC and there is no scroll at the vampire shrine. I did notice that I had a full quest log and I abandoned a quest but still no quest.
Any ideas?

lonewolf26✭✭✭✭✭If you were bitten by an NPC and you're in Reaper's march I think the NPC that gives the quest is in Rwal'kha by the gate past the bank that leads away from the crafting stations. The one that leads to the little tent city. Took me almost a week to find it since I'd not thought to look much further past the way shrine and my activities rarely take me to that part of Rwal'kha.
