Have vampirism but no quest

I contracted vampirism and can see it in my status, but I never got the option for a quest and never saw the NPC and there is no scroll at the vampire shrine. I did notice that I had a full quest log and I abandoned a quest but still no quest.

Any ideas?

Visit the area of the Wayshrines in Bangkorai, an NPC should try to get your attention to start the quest.

Did you buy it from crown store ? There is no quest if you bought it .

I'm in AD and wandered all around Reaper's MArch but got no attention.

If you were bitten by an NPC and you're in Reaper's march I think the NPC that gives the quest is in Rwal'kha by the gate past the bank that leads away from the crafting stations. The one that leads to the little tent city. Took me almost a week to find it since I'd not thought to look much further past the way shrine and my activities rarely take me to that part of Rwal'kha. Never got a way point for that area either which would have helped a lot.

[EDIT] Vorundil is an Altmer Vampire who can guide the Vestige to the Blood Matron's Crypt. He can be found in either Evermore, Rawl'kha, or Riften depending on your faction. here you go

The quest giver i found on the bridge to the left of the wayshrine. Took me ages to find.

Thank you! I would never have figured that out. The guides all say that you should get the quest near the wayshrine.
