Pity the newbie healer, they get conflicting advice/demands at every turn.
* Dungeons don't really require healers, they're all facerolls, you should DD so we can go faster.
* Your job is to heal, stop trying to DD.
* Your job is to keep the tank alive.
* Stop focusing on the tank.
* Don't res, the DDs should do it, then the tank, never the healer.
* Res is the healer's job.
* Stop buffing and heal, we can buff ourselves better anyway.
* Stop healing and buff, we can heal ourselves just fine.
* Repent as soon as possible
* Repent is for emergencies only
* Don't slot repent unless a stamina DD or tank specifically asks you to
No clue why any heals would be so pissy about a polite request for shards, but I'm sure they think they have a good reason.
Seriously ZOS, make a dungeon tutorial.

As someone who has never played any computer games before I too wish someone would make a Dungeon Tutorial, Joe Bloggs (aka the likes of me) often has no real clue what is expected of us. This is why I personally avoid going anywhere with anyone but the guy I started this game with...We might not be getting stuff right but at least no one is around to sneer at us while we do it all so horribly wrong.

Lol, my pugs has mostly gotten well except a few
Had an tank in nCoA2 who had a one hand sword and nothing in off hand,
that is rare outside the starting island and he was level 42,
Else it has been the weak group in veteran dungeons.

So in an setting where group takes lots of damage you don't deal damage as you are busy healing and watching health.
Same with res, you can res if you mostly deal damage, if busy healing DD res.

After the third bizarre encounter I started to write them down. I was kind of collecting them. I just reread what was said in group chat today and laughed. If it hadn't been that half of the pugs had some kind of "drama" I wouldn't bother posting. But rereading made me chuckle so I thought I'd share, "The names have been changed to protect the innocent"
Scene 1: nCoA1
DPS1: tank could you slot a taunt.
Tank: silence
after the 3rd Boss is dead and about to finish the fire atro
DPS2: I'm lagging, I'm going to relog, wait for me
DPS1 starts to type: Please don't, we're almost done, I don't have time to wait........
but DPS2 vanishes before he can press return
Tank who has no taunt finishes Fire Atro and heads off to the final two bosses. DPS 1 sighs
The Razor Master dies.
DPS2 relogs
DPS2: What?! You've killed everything! What is wrong with you people? I specifically asked you to wait! What kind of people are you who ignore requests like that?
DPS1starts to type:... you didn't actually ask, you left without waiting for a reply....
but DPS2 has left group
Scene 2: n CoA1
On the Warden of the Shrine, the healer dies
DPS1 rezzes him. Tank is down. Boss is at 20 percent. Faster to finish BOss than rez tank. DPS 1 and DPS2 finish Boss
Tank: *** group
DPS1: What? Why? What's wrong?
Tank: You didn't help me.
DPS1: How? I don't understand. You are a tank, you taunt. We are DD we kill.
silence - group continues through pledge
Razor Master dies
DPS1: Thanks guys, bye.
Tank: ***
DPS1whisper: That wasn't very polite. Could you tell me what was your problem with the group because I thought it was fine?
Tank whisper: I don't talk to narcissists.
DPS1 whisper: Hey mate, you've got me all wrong. I genuinely don't understand. And I'd genuinely like to know what was wrong. Perhaps instead of calling me an *** and a narcissist, you could explain your problem and we could try to understand each other
silence
Scene 3: nWGT
DPS1: tank can you slot a taunt?
TANK: Oh, sorry guys, I forgot. I was on my other toon yesterday, that's why I have both tank and DPS flagged. But this toon can't tank. Kick me if you want.
DPS1:....
Scene 4: nDC2
DPS1: tank can you slot a taunt?
Tank: What? Oh. OK
Healer :...
Before Grubull
DPS1: Wait, quick check, do you guys all understand the mechanics?
Healer: +
DPS 2 and tank: silence
very low dps from the group -DPS1 is contributing 80 percent on Grubull and his flock. With Grubull at 5 percent and after a couple of minutes of "spinning to win" DPS1 runs out of stam and can't break free from one of Grubull's snares. DPS1 isn't healed and dies. Group wipes.
DPS1: Hey Healer, would it be possible for you to throw me some shards towards the end of the fight? I was running out of stam trying to keep the adds down and couldn't break free.
Healer: lol
DPS1: I don't understand. lol - no shards. Or just lol
Healer: You're kidding
DPS1: No, I'm asking politely for shards
silence..waits...still silent
DPS1: Sorry guys, I've been talking politely in group and the healer can only be rude. I'm not interested in spending time with rude people. I'm out of here. Good luck with the dungeon and have fun.
DPS1 leaves group
Healer whisper: I'm sorry you enjoy playing this game
DPS1 whisper: You're right, I do enjoy playing the game and I'm not sorry about it. I am sorry you needed to be rude in chat though. I asked politely.
Healer whisper: The greedy don't always get what they want
DPS1: What? Do you even know what that means?
Healer: yes.
DPS1 ....
Scene 5: nFG2
DPS1: Tank could you slot a taunt.
silence...no taunt
DPS1 leaves group
Scene 6: vCoH1 hm
Tank is taunting red. Blue is running round focused on DPS2. Blue kills DPS2. DPS1 tries to rez DPS2 but is caught by blue. Healer isn't rezzing -busy dodging blue and healing tank
DPS1: (waiting for a rez or the wipe): Hey tank, could I suggest you try taunting the blue? If you taunt him and lead him over to the side out of range of red, we can kill him in peace. Or group them together, I don't mind- just keep him aggroed.
silence
healer dies
tank dies
TANK: pft idiot
DPS1: who me?
TANK: fkn noob!
DPS1: What?
TANK: fkn rez! fkn res scrub!
silence
TANK: fkn noob ruin mi run!
Group rezzes. Tank goes back to taunting red. DPS1, DPS2 and healer concentrate on taking down blue before he kills them
