The argument against hiding vampirism is selfish and ridiculous

    Yes, if pay/ or love to earn a mortal skin disguise so i could hide my vamparism and help with rp (vampires would hide among mortals) and so i can enjoy not having my tatoos bleached and not looking overall ugly

    I just want to know one thing: if hiding vampirism is allowed, do I get an option to still see through your disguise outside PVP?

    Yes. It's called setting a target's buffs and debuffs to visible. (Right now you need an addon, but wait a month and everyone will have the ability.) Then you can see, not only if they're a vampire, but what stage they're in and how long it has left at its current stage.

    If you don't want to look like a vampire, don't be a vampire.

    Simple as that.

    The vampire's appearance is part of it's penalties/drawbacks

    What strength/advantage would you want to lose to not look like a vampire?

    There is more important things for ZOS to be focusing on fixing at the moment(like lag/performance).

    This is a non-issue.

    Because the gameplay balance team is different from the people who work on cosmetics I am sure these important things you are speaking of would not be affected. This supposed non issue you speak of is important to many of us... if you spend a considerable amount of time in the forums you know cosmetics are important to us, look at how often transmog crown store requests, and hide vampirism threads pop up. I am sorry that the game doesn't completely revolve around your "important things" but I am asking for zos to enhance the rp in mmorpg, you know... that stuff rpers do? Which the elder scrolls community is fairly large... [SNIp]

    I always play my vampire in stage 4, not for the buffs, but for the cool look. I think he is incredibly sexy and I'm wearing the pirate swab outfit to show as much of his white, tattooed skin as possible.

    I'm a vampire and I'm proud.

    no, you are a vampire and I wanna force my cosmetic preference on you even though I can choose to stay looking a vampire myself if i want and even tho players can hide their skins already with hidious flashlight skins and disguises
    Ignoring the ridiculously biased way you phrased the options, since a change in character looks is PART OF being a vampire, which gives you more powerful skills than you'd otherwise have, then the 'price' you pay for that power is a 'look'.

    Accept it or don't play it, simple.

    Lamae's scions do not blend in as well as Cyrodiilic vampires. Their special ability is to avoid sun damage.

    That is a silly arguement... there is lore and gameplay examples that support hiding vamparism. Questing is part of the game to... the elder scrolls series has interesting quests and lore so go finish rivenspire and see how easily verandis hides his vamparism

    Pretty sure lamae bal mentions vampires hiding on rags and crowns. Even if they couldn't normally disguising youself is pretty simple msgic... look at the ad storyline where raz polymorphs into ayreen

    Stop forcing your gameplay upon me, I care for lore, rp and min maxing. min/maxers should not be punished to look ugly for min maxing. Dropped sets, vamparism look ugly...

    I ain't selecting any options because I can see this as a two way trick question, Vampiric cosmetics are not much of an issue from my perspective, but from a role-players perspective, it can be a bit concerning on a 50-50 basis, but either way, some disguises in the game like the imperial disguise in santakaloom in ali'kr desert can actually hide the albino pigmentation & other vampiric complexions, giving off the impression that you are cosmetically not a vampire but you still are, skill wise.
    If you see me anywhere. Know that I am sitting back with a bag of popcorn, watching as ESO burns the goodwill of its player base with practices that only disrespects the players time like it did to me and many others...

    1. You know what it means to be a vampire, in lore and mechanics;
    2. You know what the vampire makes to your appearance;
    3. Yet you do all the quest and gets infected, knowing that it would change you;
    4. EVERY OTHER TES GAMES CHANGED YOUR APPEARANCE, SMALL OR BIG CHANGES;
    5. Yet you didn't care, you wanted to look like a vampire, you wanted TO BE a vampire and go to Coldharbour after death;
    6. And now from the nowhere you want the world to move aroud you and want a way to hide your vampirism...
    7. If you didn't knew, you can feed, according to the lore and ESO game mechanics, feeding allows more human appearance;
    8. And if you don't like vampirism characteristics, then don't become one, and stop whining... >:)

    Glory for the Pact!

    Ok, long time RPer here. If the entire problem is with your appearance for RP, why do you have to have the skill line at all? You can be a straight out of character generation character and RP whatever you want. Mind you, no one else has to accept what you RP. Don't try to force the other people to accept it either. I would highly recommend sticking to theme though. Themewise, vampires are feared and hunted. That's why Verandis hides via magick. This is not Twilight and vampires are not the romantic lead.

    Fun Fact: what people claim about people having two souls from being lycanthropic is true, as kodlak once mentioned, it is not just some disease that affects you, it also seeps into the spirit.

    in a way of thinking, it is like one physical body that houses two souls, the soul of the individual who was born & the soul of the spirit animal that you change into, you know, werebeasts, like werewolves, werebears, etc.

    in a sense, Becoming a werewolf in ESOTU is like prematurely gaining a new soul to replace your own old soul.

    I want a be a min maxer with ashen grip and seducer 5pc because i like the Namen they got my rp.

    You want to be min max then you maybe have to change the way your char acts in rp.
    Or simply create an other char for RP it takes 6 hours to bring them to lvl 50 and most Rprs don't even fight with them so you don't need any skills.
    You make decisions and so do I if they are linked to a penalty I have to think if it is fine for me to have those or not. I'm not forced to do anything in this game if I don't like something I can stop playing the game

    I do 550k+ vma runs on my character on which I am not a vampire and with regular mob loot potions and lazy item sets (rattlecage lul). Vampire is the last thing you ever consider when minmaxing, it makes almost no difference in pve.
