The argument against hiding vampirism is selfish and ridiculous

no, you are a vampire and I wanna force my cosmetic preference on you even though I can choose to stay looking a vampire myself if i want and even tho players can hide their skins already with hidious flashlight skins and disguises
Just make vamps more fang-y and less vein-y

Seriously ZOS why are they butt ugly

They don't have to be that ugly

Yes, if pay/ or love to earn a mortal skin disguise so i could hide my vamparism and help with rp (vampires would hide among mortals) and so i can enjoy not having my tatoos bleached and not looking overall ugly
On some characters I would keep the vampire look, but on others, I would rather hide it. If count from Rivenspire can do it, why can't some 10M + player vampire chars do it?

Don't you hide it by feeding regularly?

Because the entire point of being a vampire is having extra skills and bonus, which ZOS has decided only comes from increasing levels of vampirism. So if one was going to feed regularly, then it would defeat the entire purpose of being a vampire, so if feeding is your response to hiding vampirism, then you might as well not even be one.

Two of my characters are vampires, and while I do agree it makes them fugly, I also believe that if one CHOOSES to become a vampire, then one must also accept everything that it means... including the ugliness factor the higher your vampirism level reaches.

That's the cost though. More power, be fugly or less power and look 'normal'.

    I choose the wrong option.

I want to see a way to hide vampirism. The vampire skin looks really bad and is the main reason I am not playing as a vamp.

IMHO having to choose between cosmetic looks and power is almost always terrible game design.

In TES Oblivion, If you drink blood often, then you look normal. There even was a quest about Altmer who created organization against vampires and he was the hidden vampire as well. This is 100% lore friendly, so calm down.

The fact that there are people against hiding vampirism when things like skins, costumes, and hide helmet exist shows how dumb people are. Let the RPers have fun with their sexy vamps ;).

    Wow, biased poll is biased.

I don't really see your problem. If you want to hide your vampirism then there's plenty of options to do that in-game, either through costumes, skins, hats or other stuff. If you don't want to hide your vampirism.. then don't. What you're basically asking for here is a bland/vanilla normal-person-looking skin which will only have use for a portion of the players (since applying it on a non-vamp character wouldn't change anything).

Speaking of selfish and ridiculous.. :/

I just want to know one thing: if hiding vampirism is allowed, do I get an option to still see through your disguise outside PVP?

Whatever you do, and no matter how much you think of it as a personal choice, will still inevitably have an impact on other people's experience, because it's not a single player game.

I'd like to be able to tell vampires and mortals apart.

Oh, and I do support a tattoo fix and a more mortal-looking stage I. I just don't want the disguise to be forced upon me, because it will if others can easily hide their nature and my character can do nothing about it.

Vampires are Vampires, in my opinion a good solution is make Stage 1 Vampirism to look normal and start to change if you don't feed.

Now this is what I would write to you as an answer, using your logic, style and tone. Bit rude, don't you think? Also, has nothing to do with OP's thread.

Also, dungeon finder is broken. And gap closer still gets you falling trough ground. And bolt escape is likely to make your char unable to do anything for a few seconds. And I bet there are 9000 more problems in this game. Still has nothing to do with OP's thread.

Don't want to look like a Vampire? Don't be one.

I think clavicus had a hand in that, tho i prefer to look like a bloodthirstyvampire i Wouldn't mind if they had it its lore friendly, also it should not be available to the dominion

12 chars, most of them are either Vampire or WW. Still would be nice to be able to hide vampirism somehow beside using somewhat ugly skins or not that interesting costumes.

Maybe if crown store costumes could have an option to hide visual effect of vampirism I would buy more of these. Please, Zos, take my money.

Ii think, only phase 4 is really ugly. And as we already have several ways to hide our vampirism, why not giving us an additional one? One where we don`t have to use ugly glow-in-the-dark skins or disguises. I would be perfectly happy with a vampiric disguise package, where you can choose which phase you want to look like, without loosing the benefits of your real vampiric phase.

I don't care, really, but I remember a guy screwing up with a spell, causing him to change genders (teach me, senpai), so I wouldn't see why vampires can't hide vampirism.

At least have an exception: Vampire traits show in daylight, if need be only shows at higher stages of vampirism.

Well... If we compare Vamp & WW - Vamp gets constant, always working passives... WW passives only work during transformation time.

As far as PvE goes - it is purely cosmetic (maybe ZOS will introduce some special "disguises" or "alternative look" for WW & Vamps, whatever obtainable via quests or Crown store).

For PvP ? duels - it is important to know that you are fighting against a vampire. In Cyro PvP we already have problems with people using disguises so you are never sure if you are fighting against 0-dmg "brick" unkillable tank or an actual DPS. People just run frost staff + full heavy impen and wear a disguise to trick people that the are squishy mages...
There is now way to know that...

Since the want to hide vampirism is a cosmetic thing, there should be a skin that just says "Natural" in the crown store for like 700 crowns. It's not fancy. Just hides anything like vampirism and gives people the option to look un-undead without breaking their backs to get one of the in-game skins.

Addons show you if player is WW or Vampire. Any addon that shows buffs on target is capable of that. Even if you don't use them, there are ways to know. For example, a skill in Fighter's Guild and its morphs evil/camuflaged hunter.

If anyone would love to truly disguise themselves, even to the point of you not knowing their race, there are polymorphs that do that job just fine.
