I know it most likely wouldn't happen but what if they could add it but make it cost 1 million gold or more just to change it to what you want.
I just did vMA 2 times in a row now & I gotten Restoration staff precise & maul infused. & it'd be nice if I could swap infused to sharpened ot defending so it could back bar on my nb.

Yeah it would be nice to only have to run it two times. Some of us spent 10x weekly for a year. Get back in there and put more effort in.

So because you suffer, everyone has to suffer, rather than the status quo improving for everyone.
Nifty.

All that does is feed the many survey glitchers that held on to their hoard for a day like this. I have over 4000 of them.

What does it have to do with surveys at all? I dont get your point

You say having a feature to feed an item 30 tempering alloys to get a chance at trait change? I have 4000 of them. I'd flood the market and make millions in a week, Trait RNG is the bane of this game. Not the item but the trait. feed it a mechanic like this and it will do nothing but fuel demand for temp alloys.
If you aren't aware, there was a glitch with the banker last year, you could stash your survey away and still harvest the crafting nodes and then retrieve the survey and repeat over and over and over. We got a 3 day ban but got to keep all our "rewards" At present there is no demand for temp alloys hence the low price of them. Add something to the game (the number 1 most desirable, trait change) that requires these and you'll be seeing 50k temp alloys overnight. Hell even the richest in the game would just buy every single one in the market and quadruple the price.
There should be a token system, 20,30,40 even 50 runs to allow you to purchase the weapon you want would be ok with me.

My suggestion was regarding BOP weapons and *** from trials that are the real issue regarding grind vs right traits, not that anyone care about the RNG of BOE items since you can buy em, also the rich ppl can already dismantle the market by buying everything and lowering demand, i dont see why trait changing and basically wasting 80% of their alloys would be a market crash

Because not everyone has stacks and stacks of them. You may well do, so do I, but some people don't actively farm them and would have to buy them, increasing demand of anything leads to price increases naturally, Big demand ( in this case frikin huge demand) X Low supply = Massive price increases.
Look at how Wax prices changed the day Burning Spell Weave landed. Took months to drop off. And how do you think gold mats would do if you can change trait with them? prices would go full spazzo.

Well already happens with every new set released or meta change, taking my example into account and lets say, sharpened necro inferno, around 350k, if you have to burn 150 rosins (considering 20% success chance) to turn a *** one into a sharpened one, with rosin costing around 4k, that would cost ya much more than the actual value of buying one, that would only make sense if necro was bop, hence why i think this solution wouldnt affect the market at all, ppel wouldnt bother to change boe items

99% of us have suffered, just because a few people who still have taken over a year to complete this twice feel hard done by isn't reason to warrant trait change system wide. thousands of people have ground this crap to the end of the earth and I'm sure the vast majority would oppose a change based on a few who 1. cba 2. too scrubby to complete it quickly 3. combo of 1&2.
Yeah I would have liked this....but like a year ago.
