High attack ticks = good PUGs in Cyrodiil

Since 2014 many group leaders in Cyrodiil have stopped leading because it was almost impossible to get people to follow orders, and many, including myself, have written posts about this issue, so now it's nice to write a positive post congratulating the devs for finally finding the cure for disorganized PUGs: high attack ticks. Nowadays it's so easy to get people in a group to run together and take keeps and resources, because everyone is chasing AP. At least in EU Azura, on PC.

Now we only need a fix for one faction dominating a campaign almost completely, painting the map in one colour. This is a serious problem during daytime gaming in EU Azura. Have tried creating groups in Azura that will visit a guest campaign when the home campaign map is almost all one colour, but it's difficult, unless there is absolutely no keeps left to take in Azura.

People in a dominating faction needs an incentive to leave a campaign when the map is all one colour except 4-6 keeps (for example the three closest homebase keeps of the other two factions). Because many players from the minority factions will just leave the moment they see that one faction has taken everything once again. Perhaps one option is to give the dominating faction a 40 percent AP bonus if they leave when the map is almost one colour, and visit another campaign, for one hour or two, until minority factions recover a bit? Will that work, or create more problems down the road?

I just posted about this in another thread. You could lower the individual AP earned by players when their faction outnumbers the others. Many play for personal AP gain these days rather than campaign objectives, so reduce that gain if they're piling on to the winning side. Faction swappers need an incentive to join the faction with one bar, not three, and knowing they'd earn more AP by joining the underdog might be one way to accomplish it.

No, it's boring, but still it's rather difficult, for some reason, to get people in a dominating faction to visit another campaign when their home campaign is all one colour.

For example, when we had only 3 keeps lefts to take in Azura I only got 7 people to join a group going to Haderus, but when there was absolutely no keeps left to take we had a group of 20 people going to Haderus. But it took a rather long time to recruit them in chat zone. It seems like the solution is to give people an option to chase an AP bonus if they visit other campaigns, for an hour or two.

Many will not swap factions, especially hardcore players chasing pvp ranks, so think it's prb better to give people in a dominating faction an ap bonus if they visit a guest campaign, and perhaps let the ap count as home campaign ap, in order to sweeten the deal even more.

uhh man,, PvP was so much fun back the days,, used to lead PUG groups in 2015 also!, then magic happens and 10 mins loading screen arised and still having them until today. its just totally broken that i cant enjoy any PvP in a group of more than 8 members

back to OP,,, all you have to do is to convince a guy called "Big Boss The Dark Phoenix" to move from Trueflame to Azura, this guy can fix PvP in mornings/afternoon better than All ZOS staff combined as he got influence on the AD population--- he usually attempt to paint trueflame yellow every now and then.

I miss old Thornblade too, but even then almost all leaders in Pact, except Subhuman, had problems with PUGs. So this was a real problem. Now it's mostly solved, by high attack ticks. So the devs deserve standing applaud for this, seriously.

If you manage to get Boss in Azura I will help or I'll ask in guild the next time he's online xD
