Even though most people got hyped for Burning Spellweave+Ilambris/Grothdar I'm getting better results with good classical Scathing Mage+Moondancer+Kena. Please keep in mind that doing a gear update now doesn't make much sense with the forthcoming fundamental changes to sustain/balance in 3.0.x patch in June.
Yes, all is fine (but there is still no info about your penetration stats tho..)My questions is: With all those stats and gear. Am I in the right direction for doing great in PvE?
It's not 2015 anymore - you can do ICP on bare-bone character with crafted gear in mid-PUG quite easily.scatling is from DLC dungeon, so harder to farm for casuals, bsw is easier to farm CoA
Spinner's more PvP-fronted. With the forthcoming changes to CP you'll have enough stats to invest into Spell Erosion passive not to bother with wasting 5pcs slot for this set anymore.method__01 wrote: »apart from BSW,you can try the spinner's set,one of my toons has 5 spinner's, 4 julianos, 2 Ilambris (switch to Engine Guardian sometimes) and doing just fine (destro/resto staff )
Necropotence. On magNB. That's a good one - LOL. Doltia's Gaming withdrawal syndrome.Necropotence is still the best set if you want the best dmg.
But I would wait until the patch drops.

(2 items) Adds 967 Max Magicka

(4 items) Adds 967 Max Magicka
(5 items) While you have pets active, increase Max Magicka by 4000
For Necropotence. But where do I see that I would make more damage? Sorry for this dump question I'm not that good with Sets. I once got this set Crafted by a friend and actually never did some changes.

I don't have pets because I'm a Nightblade.

You're welcome.
Yes. Which is ultra-bad and not recommended by anyone except some really bad players. Or Doltia.Necropotence is still the best set if you want the best dmg.

All nightblades have the option of a combat pet. "Summon Shade" works with Necro gear

Agreed, tbh if i had to make a list of pretty useless NB abilities this would be at the top of it, but if it wasn't a poor ability then + ~380 spell damage would make a tempting build to try out.

Necro is good for the 4 pc bonus in your case. The 5 pc for now is only relevant to sorcerers when using pets. The more magicka you have the more damage you can do effectively. It's not always about how much spell damage you have. Also with sorcerer pet builds the pets damage is scaled off of how much max magicka you have. I understand this is kinda irrelevant to you being nightblade but just some info

Well i used scathing in pve and then tried out necropotence and it's a big increase in dmg/shield strength and a decrease of enemy dmg (in solo or 4 man dungeons)
Since Assasins Will is absolute useless and a dmg loss in raids I have a free skill slot anyways so...

Are we talking PvE or PvP?
Because I sure as hell am Enjoying the HELL out of the shadows teleport morph on my NBs. It's so much fun in PVP, but then again 99% of streamlined people have no F-ing clue bout the game's different options.

wait, what do you mean by "assassins will" is useless? the damage of it is pretty strong!
