Eidetic Memory: Books Not being Ticked as Read (bug)

I always read everything i find, even kill 20 mobs just to read that 1 bookshelf in a dungeon.
I was very upset when i found two very simple books not being ticked off the Eidetic Memory list:

As you can see "A Request for Relief" is not being ticked off, despite reading it. Blacksmithing basics is also one of the books not being ticked off.
This is on my "new" character created in Christmas (patch 1.5)
I was very upset when i found two very simple books not being ticked off the Eidetic Memory list:

✭This has never worked as far as I can see, there was a very long thread not long after launch with exactly the same complaint.
Use SEARCH on "Eidetic Memory", you'll find them, this is the one I recall:

Currently, there are two different versions of "A Request for Relief," one that appears in the skill books collection and one that appears in the crafting collection. Though they are identical, you'll need to read both to get the book checked off in each section.

You didn't get a good answer, you just got a restatement of the problem. Actually for some unknown reason both got ticked. Not sure if i may have picked up that book by chance somewhere else or some hidden patch thing.mDKs still need a lot of love!0 -
