to be blunt even if they removed them it would make no difference, the balance issues come from min -maxing and OP sets/builds more then CP, all CP does is make the these builds even more OP. the only way to get any real balance at this point would be to bring all the OP sets like lich more in line with all the others, I mean there is loads of sets in game and yet only what maybe 5% are used by most end game players and they are only used because they are OP and require far less skill from the player in PVP and PVE.

to all the people saying that CP should be removed from PVP but not PVE I have to ask why?, I get why you think they should be removed from PVP(so everyone is on a more even lvl making it more about skill...ect) but why not PVE?, as it is now all PVE is easy as long as you use a min-maxer build and taking CP out would require people to actually use skill so it would be more challenging/fun (unless ZOS tweaked the PVE content by reducing the difficulty so it ends up being the same as it is now) instead of tedious and boring like it is now.

I voted no because your proposal is to remove all long term progression.

I would vote to remove them to replace them back with character and not account bound progression like it used to be, alts are the reason the game can be so unbalanced and everyone is slave to the meta, if rolling the fotm was not possible they'd have to balance things better.

Only remove them in PvP, that's where all the nerfs come from.

I like them, but I only play PvE so far.
It's yet another way to customize my character, and in my opinion, the more ways I can customize my character, the better. I just wish they'd decide on a system and stop changing it.
If CP are causing an issue in PvP, then they should remove them for PvP areas only.

remove cp will ruin the game for many players
and i still hope they put in high craft (high blacksmith/high clothier/ high woodworker etc) so we can make cp170/180/190/200 gear/wapons/food/drinks/potion/glymphs
