Does the minor slayer perk work on target dummies?

If it doesn't that would make the dps tests from the dummies much less superior to the bloodspawn test.

It does not apply to the target dummy since it's in a house, which is not considered a dungeon or trial. Just to make sure, though, I did test w/ light attacks to the dummy with 3 pieces of infal and w/ 2 pieces of infal w/ a mismatched gold arcane ring w/ the same enchant.

Since there are no worthy overland targets it would make sense minor slayer would work with the target dummy.

With 3 million health, you'd think it would. Even without it though it's what; 5%? Shouldn't be too hard to math if it's not, however you'd think it'd calculate that.

Regardless! Tbh, I'd use the dummies for one phase and once it reached a threshold of damage I'm comfortable with I'd move on to Bloodspawn parses with a couple of friends for a more 'in the moment/realistic' parse if Minor Slayer works with the dummies or not.

But the key is whether it is in or not, all characters have a standard benchmark.

if you both compare target dummy you know 5% vs bosses would be added if you have the sets.

if you are tesing different sets, you can just add 55 to your vs boss estimates.

But hey, two target dummies - one trash and one boss and the ability to craft multiple and have them in place for a true DPS run vs mobs containing a boss and some more fragile adds that die and respawn after a bit... let you build your own practice arena

North corner - one boss.
south corner - one fodder respawning in 1m
west corner - three fodder respawning in 1m
east corner - boss plus three fodder respawning in 1m

Now run combat rotations from corner to corner until they are all gone and give us your DPS.

Multiply target dummy DPS by 1.05. Or if your guild wants 25k unbuffed Bloodspawn from its members, make it 25k Bloodspawn or 23.8k Target Dummy. While I agree that Target Dummy should be susceptible to Minor Slayer, this is not too hard to work around.

Honestly, I'm not sure what the point of limiting Minor Slayer to dungeons and trials is at this point. Just make it not work against other players. Most overland enemies are already easy if you already have trial gear, it would be nice to have for some of the harder world bosses, and already applies everywhere else.

there seems to be a "ZOS thing" whereby making stuff work/not work against players gives them a headache...just look at the non-crit proc set mess

Sorry to bump an old thread but in case anyone looks at this in the future it does in fact work. Me as well as multiple guild members took off all of our gear but the rings and weapons (without spell dmg enchant) and LA the dummy with minor slayer (1789k and 2009k) and without (1704k and 1914k).

1704*1.05=1789
1914*1.05=2009

So based on those results it looks like it works.

It seems to add 5% damage to all damage skills at all times. Even when just bummin around Grahtwood.
