If it is a glitch, I'm unaware of it. It's not happened to me.But isn't that a glitch that people don't have control over? It's happened to me before
Yes, think I only have seen two opened chests in the game and its pretty verified it don't affect re-spawn speed.FelixTheCatt wrote: »Gonna agree on the chest/node thing. You know they have this handy feature where you can destroy an item. No blaming ZOS for your bad behavior. That is all on you.
Your time isn't any more precious than that of any other player.

- Please do not just go right in and start unlocking a chest or node when another is there first, but battling off an add or adds. Yes, there plenty of other chests and nodes; so what.. it is the principle of things. Go get your own damn chests or node elsewhere!
- Please take all contents within a chest or node. Doesn't matter if spawn time is no different or not. Just take all the damn things from within already!
- At a dolmen, please do not just stand there or just going to pinion after pinion waiting to press; especially when there are only two of you there. There is fighting going on with only one person fighting off the adds enough for two (or more.) Get in the fight, dammit, and quit worrying about the damn pinions!
- At a dolmen or world boss, please do not just wait or hide nearby and then come in at the end when the boss's hp gets low just to get the few hits in needed for completion while another has been doing all the work.
- Please farm your own mats and gold and quit trying to scam others for mats or panhandle for gold. (Panhandlers in this game. Really? Ha ha)
- Please stop spamming duel after the first decline. Go to any capital city or Cyrodiil and you can duel all your heart out.
- Please stop throwing mudballs at a dye station. Kids nowadays.. sheesh
Ahhh, what else. Ok, you guys can add on what other pet peeves you may have within this game that others are doing that may have gotten under your skins.

I have a few but you know it includes forums too...
Don't start considering stuff you have not gotten yet yours just because you have started along the path. Just because your bid on a house or an ebay auction went in before mine does not make me a jerk for winning the actual bid by the rules of the auction.
Show some sportsmanship. if you lose a race, dont start foruming about how the one who beat you is a jerk cuz they took your prize. there is so much treasure in this game that is directly and inexplicably keyed to combat - you beat the monster you get the loot and very little that is keyed to the win the "race mechanic" - first one to grab it (not get near it, but actually interact with it) gets it so when you do get beaten to some of the race-mechanic content do what real competitors do - smile, decide to try harder next time and move on without feeling the need to spam in game or run over to forum to complain about it. The treasure in the game that is owned by combat cannot be taken from you, so dont fret the other cases so much you lose sight that losing gracefully is a sign of character.

However, I'm talking about when certain are there from the beginning, and you can see them hiding behind a brush or in hidden mode, in general. After running killing around the dolmen, you can clearly see that dude or dudette twitching or moving while in hidden mode. Then, he/she comes in when the boss is at low hp. Just irks you.. that's all.
I'm guilty of this sometimes. If I come in and dolmen isn't active (or we just closed one, so I need to wait for it to respawn), I sometimes honestly wait. But sometimes I want to grab a snack, go for a smoke or... you know... biologySo yeah, I go into sneak mode behind some rocks and afk.
And yeah, sometimes I return when dolmen is on the final phase. So I go "OH SHI", sprint in and cast some DoTs
It's not malice. It's just... people have stuff to do, you know
Yes, I hear you, but why go afk at a dolmen. I usually go afk at the wayshrine near the dolmen. When the dolmen is up and fighting has been going on and you're still afk right at that dolmen (although, dolmen are not that hard for an experience toon) you're still screwing the dude sololy fighting all the adds. By you being there, hidden or afk, whatever, you're causing more adds to spawn at that dolmen. Just like those damn worthless rubber banders or bots, whatever you call them. They are just causing more to spawn. Ok, you're in a group where others are also fighting, yes, you're fine. However, when you're just fighting all the extras by yourself, than that other stagnant toon(s) are just screwing you.
To be honest, I've never noticed that much of a difference between one person and two people at a dolmen in terms of difficulty/spawn. And most people who go AFK at the dolmen intend to come back before it comes up but something comes up.
I think the only thing from your list OP that I'm guilty of is lingering by the pinion. The only reason I want it is because dealing with it fills my health/magicka/stamina bars when I'm almost dead. If I'm not almost dead, then I'm in the fight because that's where the fun is!
As far as chests and nodes go, I take it all or I take nothing. I don't mind coming across an alchemy or clothing node with just worms or crawlers because I have discovered the wonders of fishing! Also, if I reach a chest at the same time as someone else, I've got no problem sharing the loot, but when I ask the other person, I never get an answer.
I don't participate much in zone chat or any other chat really, but I do keep an eye on it. If someone needs something like heartwood or an alchemy supply, I'll send it to them if I have it. I like being kind to my fellow players because maybe some day I'll need something and someone will be kind to me in return.

I clearly expressed my opinions before on this matter and do not feel like dealing with another hate defender coming into to defend with some childish justification, but I would like to point out a few flaws with some of these pet peeves I could not agree more on most.
Whoever gets their first should get the chest or node, no one is purposely following you to take them from you, most of the time they happened to see it and are racist towards it you cannot blame the player for the competitiveness of getting open world loot.
There are some other things to consider, some peoples inventory gets full and cannot always take out all the contents in the chest.
Just because someone runs up at a boss towards the end does not mean they where hiding, tons of people are boss farming and just happen to barely make it.
And just turn off your invites for dueling.

Sure, pull them pinion if you need to refresh your pool.. but, I'm talking about the ones that doesn't fight but stand and wait at each pinion just waiting to pull it, while the other (like me) is fighting sololy and beating down all the adds; all the while that dude or dudette is just standing there at the pinion not fighting or wasting any stam, maj or hp.ComboBreaker88 wrote: »It's all part of the game. It doesn't bother me if someone raced me and got to a node or chest first.. fine, take it. It is that one when you see that chest or node and clearly from your wide-screen, there is no one else around. Then, you get there and still no one is around, but the adds guarding it. You then proceed to fight off the adds, only to see some dude or dudette unlocking that chest or running up to take that node, just right after or during your fighting. I don't buy that.. anyone can clearly see someone else is already there and fighting off those adds. When I'm on the latter, I don't race up and sneak in to take it. If I see that someone may be having trouble fighting those adds, I'll jump in and help, then I will go away and let him or her take that add or node. That is etiquette and courtesy.
Sure, again, this is just a game and all these things that irk me and others have been happening since probable day one of this game, at least for the year or so I have been playing. We all know people are people, and they are the way they are and how they play; craps like these are not going to change. Ok, fine, ignore it.. move on, but been doing that every time I've been playing for the past year. There comes a time when you have to say something; whether it will affect change or not.

All that said, both decency and manners cost nothing and I only wish some people out there realised acting the big bad gaming badass made them look ridiculous rather than the awesomely edgy individual they think they're being.

The issue is growing thicker skin is over used and people do not understand the proper use of it. It is one thing if you know them but even if you know them you could be annoying them constantly doing the same thing every day and the person you may know may finally say enough is enough and you respond grow thicker skin who is really needing to grow thicker skin in this situation?
You see just because it is your sense of humor does not mean others share it nor should. I do think some people are oversensitive though at the same time people are also over aggressive about their so called humor.
