Magika tank question

I'm a new player and have a Norn DK stamina tank, champion 110. I started a new pg to try other roles and have fun.
Looking to Destruction staff traits i found a trait that grant to a tank using the Frost Staff.
I really like the idea of be a magika tank and I want to try it. Then the answer is that: I'm I able to do that with my actual pg? Or should i change race and class?
Also, what champion points are better for a tank? Both stamina and magika, because I spent them in teh tankier traits i found but I'm new and not shure if i did the best choices.

✭✭✭You can tank with any Race, and a DK and tank as either Sword and Board user or Frost Staff user. However, if you want to do more difficult content I would highly recommend against Frost Staff tanking.0
