Great to see that templates still give pretty much only Precise weapons, half the monster sets can't be got, agility/willpower/endurance can't be got etc...

Incredibly useful to test the server with nothing to test with :)

Once you make the PTS actually allow EU characters to test anything, I can actually help improve this game for you Zos...


PS: It is pretty darn simple. make a vendor that sells all set types in game, in all traits, rather than this Inventory moshpit.

    bah....i wont quit but...im really not happy...my main wont be effected to harshly, i can adapt without losing to much dps...

    but the pool penilty if you go over X amount of any pool..total ***...gonna have to respec all my chars since, my hp and mana pool are above softcap thus kick off the "you have to much you must be penalized" ***...BAH i say!!!

    anybody that thinks this is good for pve, hasnt watched for example this video, that SHOWS YOU THE EFFECTS and what you have to do to counter them(lose a bunch of dps on stam chars) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fK5D32QGsy0&t=2928s

    There are also quite a few missing dungeon, overland, and trial sets, crafting isn't leveled at all so you're stuck with only a handful of glyphs from the coffers for everything you want to test, there are absolutely no multiples of the same weapons, and you only get purple jewellery instead of the usual gold ones.

    See, people want to theorycraft in the PTS; we really can't do much of that with what's currently available.

    yup, if they made it so you could buy the gear you want to try from a vendor very cheap/free could have vendors for each type of item just setup dune on PTS as the gearing up town... that should cover it i would think.... could also let people buy crafting matts enmass on the pts cheap/free so they could test using stuff they crafted themselves...

    i would do that....hell i would max out the lines i havent really touched since launch on my main on pts just to see if i felt it was worth working them up as i grab more skill points (kinda slacked off on that after i hit more then i needed to have a build i enjoyed with points to spare.. when you dont waste your points on skills you rarely or never slot... i have most of them worked up then, reset to get points back so, if i ever need it, i can re-activate it...after i saw how nice encase works now vs when i tried it way back, i activated it again....sometimes its handy for locking down trash mobs, and annoying ads....

    anyway...it would be nice....several games i have played actually setup reward systems to get peopel to test content they had tweaked/updated, it was fun, do the test content a few times filling out reports each time, earn something on the test server, but also, something on the live server every so often...was fun...and rewarding..if only they had listened to the bug reports and feedback before pushing most of those test builds live....and having broken que content and missions/quests/etc....every time i start to get mad about bugs in eso i think of cryptic and think...."well at least its not cryptic/pwe/pwi"

    this was a pain...my way round was to create a few template chars and decon the arse out of all the "Rewards for the Worthy" stuff filling up my inbox

    Yeah but then we remember this is ZOS and they'll probably accidentally patch it into the live game.

    A vendor that sells all sets would be great.

    But if I'm not mistaken, EU will get their characters on 1st of May(??). Not sure but I remember someone saying that somewhere. Can be a lie though.

    But ye. If Zeni wants things tested completely, they should add every set & every boss/dungeon. Copying the Live-vendors(and add one for monster-sets) and storing them into one area, should be doable, or?

    The template crafting containers include a ton of crafting materials.

    Solution for future : Make atleast 1 character on NA megaserver then max it and gear it up :wink:
