How easy is it to create a channel for beta only. Takes ... oh... about 3 seconds. So, basically, what your guild said to you is... "You aren't worth 3 seconds."

well, how else would they keep people quiet about the warden being uber op, and everybody else being given an across the board nerf...some classes far more then others but...either way...its lovely seeing it take 5-10x as long to kill the same mobs on pts vs live... soooo wonderful... turning a build i was just getting dialed in, into garbage...making all the gear i crafted it pretty much trash...because....regens are all f'd off now, forcing a total rebalance of my gear again..crafting 160 gear..just to have it made into trash by the next major patch to go live..im really excited to spend another week or so farming up mats to craft another 160 set....

and im not shocked to see people say its everybody but ZoS to blame...fanboi's do not take kindly to people blaming their idols for anything....

i wouldnt be giving zos any more money...also wouldnt be helping any of those people anymore without charging gold or stuff for the help...fuckemall...

Did you even read my post? The reason I got kicked was because this is a closed beta and my guildees would get in trouble even talking about it around me. ZOS made the choice to make it closed and invite-only, and require NDA's. As a consequence, those of us who didn't get invites are now shunned in our own guilds.

personally, in game, non-pts, i would send them a nice email, and leave a message with whoever was online, that i was leaving the guild, since not being in the beta ment you where not welcome/wanted in the guild...they could have just moved to a passworded chan where only those in the beta had the password, but..naa...they dump you and tell you to get fukt....

zos dont care, and the guild clearly dosnt give a *** about you..your just somebody for them to use when convenient...i been there...the reason our guilds so small...only people who are actually decent people are actually allowed to stick around...nobody who boots you because you didnt get a beta invite is a decent person imho...and i really hope they see this post/thread....then....realize what *** people they really are.

ZOS made the choice to make it closed and invite-only, and require NDA's. As a consequence, those of us who didn't get invites are now shunned in our own guilds.

I would like to point out, he was kicked from his guild's TS not the guild
He then chose to leave the guild.
They were right not to let him in a channel discussing the new content, and he was childish for thinking they should open themselves to a lawsuit for him.

when your not welcome in the voice server everybody is using to talk, your not really part of the guild....sorry you cant see or understand that.

not channel, they booted/banned him from their TS server, told him he would be invited back after beta...

heres the problem...they could have taken 10sec and setup a channel that only those in the beta could enter....instead they banned him from ts with the NDA excuse...

I'm going to call BS on this one, I find it hard to believe that every one in your guild but you got an invite ( there would be a lot more ) and they were to afraid to slip a hint and get kicked. The guild leaders would in most cases ( if there was a lot of players that got an invite ) just create another channel and have only players with an invite access. ( have been in many in the years and this is the normal ) And since you have been in the guild since 2014 and all of a sudden you were kicked I really don't see that as the reason.

Have been in past years ( not ESO as I have never played it with any thought of end game content ) played in higher level end game and have myself been excluded and other guild members not often but it does happen, the others just have a laugh at us and drop to secure channel with the devs coming in and out as they please.

I have never been in a guild with a member that has been in there that long be kicked for any other reason but been disrespectful to other members or leave on their own and blame others. And I have been around gaming for a long time in my 52 years.

Find a new guilds with some real mates. The kind of mates that DO NOT ask someone they have known for 3 years to re-submit an app.

There are tons of great guilds. Many of which would love to have a person like yourself, who obviously values ESO.

In theory. In practice you're more likely to just get kicked from the beta, and blacklisted from future Bethesda betas. Meaning, next year, when there's another expansion on the way, you will not be selected.

The difference between having password-locked NDA channel and kicking someone out TS to protect NDA is just a technicality and serves the same purpose.

Your "friends" are being tools. What is discussed in TS or Vent or whatever the hell you guys like to use isn't exactly public info unless someone posts it publicly or confesses to it. Pretty lame, kinda feels like maybe they used this as a reason to give you the boot, maybe karma will destroy their guild someday.

Well, I still gave a couple of other guilds at least.

Just about every MMO made has full expansion packs as closed betas.

The only one that I can think off immediately that didn't was WoW during Mists of Pandaria, and the level of feedback they got was abysmal because most players(it was a no NDA beta that you got in by signing up for a year subscription, on top of a copy of Diablo 3) just used it as a playtest.

IIRC, Warlords of Draenor was a no NDA beta, and possibly Legion as well, but neither of them were open. After MoP, all beta content has been invite only.

It's a pretty *** reason to kick you out of the Teamspeak. How would Zenimax know if they're talking about it with you on Teamspeak? Sounds to me like your "friends" are just waiting for a reason to kick you.

If they wanted to kick you out of the guild, sure that might sound a tiny bit legit since there's a chatlog. But Teamspeak? What they have Zenimax staff on their Teamspeak channels to monitor the conversations?

Kudos to you for leaving the guild. You're better off finding a better community and I believe you will be able to.

NDA is much more intended to block major publication of info. At worst a player would see account ban and possibly a small civil suit. NDA is a fear tactic
