We always welcome feedback, and everyone is reading even if you don't see a public reply. :) We do have some tweaks coming to next week's PTS incremental, but please don't expect to see a complete 180 on some of the gameplay-related changes. Keyword here is tweaks.

    more nerfs to come!!!

I am sure you want to be super powerful and zerg people over in PvP because CP allowed you to have infinite resources. There is no reason you should have infinite resources in any game. I feel like you should go play little big planet because that's a pretty easy game and doesn't require much thought.

The game has plenty of cancer builds and when you can fly through a trial in 45 minutes with 12 people well you have powerful players slaughtering NPCs. That's not a challenge so like I said go play little big planet. I love all the nerfs that happened and wish they happened awhile ago.

imho, you pvpers are cancer, you are why so many fing nerfs happen to pve across mulit mmo's i have witnessed this crap.....

they should make a seperate client for pvpers and just have the whole map open for pvp where anybody can attack anybody else and team damage is on...and deaths=you are lootable, that should make it more fun for the pvp crowd, and allow them to actually balance pve rather then nerf pve to make pvp more balanceed....

i think you should go play some KalOnline...you like slow ass grinds that take 3-5x as long as they need to...with trash mobs...you will love it...though....when you get your level high enough...you can spam skills....rather then having to use normal unskilled attacks constantly...as you apparently feel will make this game alot more fun...

If repentance is my main way of getting stamina back to my group, and it no longer restores stamina to a group, there is a massive flaw. Yes shards work.
I play mainly PVE, including Trials and Dungeons. If I lax up on the repentance, I quickly get reminded.

Bodies can only be repentanced once, I don't think it's possible to describe how useless repentance will become.
*Healer uses repentance to restore their already full 10k pool of stam, whilst healing springs already had everyone at max health and none of the stam builds have any stamina because they accidentally popped some rogue orbs and can no longer use shards*

this is HOW YOU MAKE THE GAME MORE FUN, see everybody having to use heavy attack as their primary attack makes the game slower, and slower combat is more fun combat.....

everybody can just re-roll to configs that are built to be as tanky as possible since every fight should now be a slog of heavy attacks and a use skills as if they are one offs...since....being out of mana/stam with nerfed regens....means your gonna be out of those all the time anyway....and burning threw pots like mad as well.

but again this is how you make a game alot more fun for the majority of players... zos cant be wrong, they are never wrong...if they say it will make the game alot more fun, it will be alot more fun.....really.....

I like that they are addressing the troll build issues, it needs to be done, i dont agree with how they are doing it. Ill test it out on live but if its not in my opinion marginably better, than i may have to take a long breather from the game.

There are a lot of people like myself on the fence
There are a lot of people who hate these changes
There are a lot of people who like them

I think we all agree there are still holes that need to be filled

Probably not this Monday... that is all likely going to be stuff already in the queue. But maybe some changes for the next.

Yeah, this is an important point. Anything they do to address major balance issues in response to the first week of PTS is not going to be released in a patch at the end of the first week. It will take them at least 2 weeks.

Of course, that won't stop people from complaining about the patch notes on Monday, followed by protests involving canceled subscriptions, uninstalling the game, rioting in the streets, and not using coasters on Mom's coffee table.

A lot like it, but there have been posts from people having issues completing content with changes.

In my opinion ZOS should release an official response to the community about the backlash after releasing the PTS patch notes earlier this week. I am sure that they are taking the feedback and are hard at work making adjustments for the upcoming Morrowind release, but I think it would be comforting for the community to hear what is going on to rectify the situation.

Immediately after the release of the notes this week I cancelled two ESO plus memberships, and have only logged on the live server for maybe an hour this week when I have been averaging 4 hours per day over the last month or so. I had been contemplating making a few crown store purchases, but those thoughts stopped once I read the patch notes and saw the clear direction the game seems to be going. I know there are others like me in the community.

We have seen many of the prominent content creators giving their constructive (and non-constructive) criticisms about the patch notes and the direction of the game. Arguably the largest content creator has fully quit creating content for ESO, despite it being his full-time job. These videos, forum posts, in game talk, etc., is creating a real black mark on the future of this game and the upcoming expansion.

Under normal circumstances a response to the reaction over PTS notes might to be warranted, but this time it feels different. I think a proper response would go a long way for people in the community, and it would also benefit ZOS to do so as they are losing at least some amount of money already.

ZoS absolutely needs to come out and say something. This is a critical time for ESO, and it has more eyes on it since the initial launch because of the hype surrounding Morrowind. But what are those eyes seeing? An EXTREMELY unhappy playerbase. This is a bad look, and needs to be addressed.

Most people that read these forums actually just laugh about those panic-posting how this will hurt ESO or gut the player base or any other ridiculous claim.

3.0 means a change in the overall balance of combat mechanics. Stuff like this is not unusual for an MMO where big changes are often reserved to be released alongside new content in an Addon. The go-to example here is WoW where practically every single Addon since WotLK brought sweeping changes to all the different game mechanics, class identities/ability sets and thus balancing and other aspects of the game.

And just like here, the doomsayers threw tantrums about how this hurts the game and guts the player base.
Guess what? Every single Addon had an influx of new players and old players returning.
Players quit over all kind of stuff, either for personal reasons or over gameplay experience. That is inevitable.

So please, stop these nonsense posts. The sky isn't falling. Use your time to collect and present feedback in this forum about stuff that *actually* concerns you about your personal gameplay experience. ZOS will then decide for themselves if the feedback provided is valuable enough to be reflected in an adjustment or not.

The problem with demanding that ZOS say something is that, when they do, people continue on like ZOS said nothing. When the message does not say what they want it to say, they do not listen.

    imho, you pvpers are cancer,

I wouldn't go that far. More posers than anything. MMOs are where special snowflake players who fancy themselves PvPers go to get their egos stroked. When they PvP in any other game genre with a more level playing field they get their rear-ends handed to them on a stick and that's just not acceptable to their fragile sense of self.
