Argonians bother me too.
But.
Chickens have breast meat.... and *technically* they are reptiles. Also Argonians can grow feathers. So maybe they have chests without ***...... eugh this topic is really horrible lol
Edit lol nips are censored!

And at least in Morrowind (idk about Daggerfall and Arena) Khajiits and Argonians used to be more different from the other races (eg. no breasts on females), which i actually prefer to the uniform races of newer Elder Scrolls games.
It is just less work for the developers to use the same model for all races, which is the main (only?) reason, why the races ended up like they are now. Not much lore behind it.
Wat.
That's from the vanilla game, unmodded. Those are clearly breasts.

I mean, argonians are no mammals...
their female lay eggs..their baby don't even drink milk then why do they have "that"?
their male,,,well if you know your biology, crocs' "manly thing" is hidden in the body unless they are mating........I donno...just feel weird thinking about this
Hope I don't get ban for discussing biology things

Again, they didn't decide they're mammals - they're just artists applying standard human shape-recognition ("curvy = female") without regard to actual biology.
Just like the sci-fi movies that have swoopy-dogfight-noises for spaceship battles, even though the science nerds yell "there's no sound in space!"
Accuracy isn't their goal. Quick recognition via familiar symbology & shape/sound/etc cues is.

Technically argonians are super evolved trees so it's all madness.
Again, not always. If circumstances aren't ideal for egg laying they are perfectly capable of live birth. Just as when they are a long way from the Hest their breast can produce Hest sap for their young.WalksonGraves wrote: »Kiralyn2000 wrote: »WalksonGraves wrote: »Yeah whoever decided lizard people are mammals has never seen an animal.

I find it strange you know anything about this considering you don't know how Hist is spelled.
Kiralyn2000 wrote: »It's a common design issue in many fantasy/sci-fi things.
Because it's designed by humans, for humans. And human visual-recognition cues. Curvy-shape = female. So, to make 'female' whatevers obvious to the human consumers of the media, they give them boobs & hips. Even if it doesn't make "sense" from a science & biology standpoint.
