I won't stop playing my stamblade just because of the nerfs. I do play for fun, and even though I do run veteran trials and I know my magicka sorcerer friend is doing more damage than me, I can provide the team with useful buffs and armor buffs.
I guess if you want to have the best dps stamina NB it's not an option, but I do not like it when people stop playing the class they like just because whatever the patches are changing

There is a good reason for it even if it is deppressing.

There comes a point when nerfs come along to a class where their usefulness is put into question, i.e if its vmol and you're missing 20k more dps and somehow that missing 20k is preventing completion then people will start saying "blahblah we're carrying you blahbalh" and so bassically some even just say, "dont come on what you want to play on". which is unfortunate.

Its a crappy point of view but people do hold it and its rather irritating actually. Thats usually the reason people stop playing on something when it gets hard nerfs because they "dont want to be carried" in pve or "useless" in pvp even though the nerfs dont always equal being useless or not powerful enough etc. People follow the meta, the meta sticks. People only come on certain classes. For my own vmol group for example we have 2 mag dk's and rest are sorcs when it comes to dps.

@D0ntevenL1ft Actually templars would still have better healing thanks to (Mending: This passive ability now increases the healing done by Restoring Light abilities by 6/12% based on the target’s missing health, up from 5/10%.)

So templar will have better healing than dk and nb even if they gave nb access to major mending.The new issue will be that Nb have better healing then DK since DK major mending buff would be no existent after a light attack.

ZOS hates Nightblades. Probably because they don't know how to counterplay gankers and bombers . PvE wise the class is in a really bad place , I'd say it's the worst class atm.

In PvE they need so much more than that.

if cloak works- they shouldn't need mending . two classes that dont need mending are sorcs- as they have crit surge- and nightblades- cos they can go inviistible. every class should have their own means of damage mitigation- and those are theirs. templars heal thru damage, Dk's buff and armour thru damage, sorcs- fight thru it- and night blades go invisible. these are class defining traits.
a night blade shouldn't heal thru damage- they should cloak and duck out- thats what makes them night blades. they go freaking invisible. dont give them healing too.
that being said- cloak dosent work.

I can tell you right now that 1.5k healing on our light and heavy attacks (that can't crit) isn't going to do the job.

Stamblades are dead. I hope for a rework. New skills, new passives. Maybe they will be able to balance it, when they first carefully work out the skills.

Another option would be class change token or account-wide achievements, so I can finally say goodbye to my stamblade (main).

Especially since the one thing they are good at.... one shotting people from stealth.... we deemed unfair and the bonus damage was removed.... great okay but I need something back for losing the one thing I am good at.

I main a stamblade, I have never done VMA, but I aim to do this before Morrowind since I fear it will be very hard/impossible to do once the patch hits. If it is as bad as I fears, then I'll begin maining my old imperial tank in Morrowind.

revert the changes and buff stamblade, otherwise, hello mag sorc here i come
