What About Stamblades?

Forgive me if this has been posted numerous times, but I've not seen or heard it. Most people complaining about the nerfs in this upcoming update (and rightfully so) have talked about the further destruction of stam builds, their stam DK's, and mortally wounded classes such as the Magblade. But I've not been hearing anything in particular about how badly the Stamblade builds have suffered; although I know the last few updates have been killing us. Does anyone have any specific details or experience regarding the nerfs of stamblades and how much worse this upcoming update will damage them?
From what I can tell, Zeni's claim that all classes will have the ability to extend to all three roles and therefore there's no such thing as being pidgeon-holed into specific classes. Tell that to everyone flocking to magsorcs while stamblades never get invited to trials.

✭Stamblades have been well behind stam dk and stam sorcs in PVE forever, stamina itself is just not an option for good competitive pve scores as explained in these threads.

I do hope they get some love or a rework soon.

Merancapeman✭✭✭To that, I wonder how much fun you'll have in vet trial, heh. Although I, too, will continue to play stamblade, assuming I don't leave as a result of Morrowind. It's bad that a game in which it is a selling point that your playstyle should always be viable, they're pidgeon-holing you to play mag builds, or at least magsorcs.

itehache✭✭✭✭I won't stop playing my stamblade just because of the nerfs. I do play for fun, and even though I do run veteran trials and I know my magicka sorcerer friend is doing more damage than me, I can provide the team with useful buffs and armor buffs.
I guess if you want to have the best dps stamina NB it's not an option, but I do not like it when people stop playing the class they like just because whatever the patches are changing 2 -

✭Not sure what type of content you're referencing-- scratch that, it doesn't really matter. If trying to perform...well anything, at a high/competitive level, you can do it better, sometimes handily so, with a different class. The exception to this is perhaps stealth ganking in Cyrodiil, which is frankly quite disheartening...

There is a good reason for it even if it is deppressing.
There comes a point when nerfs come along to a class where their usefulness is put into question, i.e if its vmol and you're missing 20k more dps and somehow that missing 20k is preventing completion then people will start saying "blahblah we're carrying you blahbalh" and so bassically some even just say, "dont come on what you want to play on". which is unfortunate.
Its a crappy point of view but people do hold it and its rather irritating actually. Thats usually the reason people stop playing on something when it gets hard nerfs because they "dont want to be carried" in pve or "useless" in pvp even though the nerfs dont always equal being useless or not powerful enough etc. People follow the meta, the meta sticks. People only come on certain classes. For my own vmol group for example we have 2 mag dk's and rest are sorcs when it comes to dps.Ah, e-communities - the "pinnacle" of the internet............yeah, right.1 -

✭✭Stamblades really are the worst dps class in the game. Whenever I pug a vet dungeon as tank, and I see 2 nb dps, I know it is going to be a hassle.

ZOS hates Nightblades. Probably because they don't know how to counterplay gankers and bombers
. PvE wise the class is in a really bad place , I'd say it's the worst class atm. 4 -

✭if cloak works- they shouldn't need mending . two classes that dont need mending are sorcs- as they have crit surge- and nightblades- cos they can go inviistible. every class should have their own means of damage mitigation- and those are theirs. templars heal thru damage, Dk's buff and armour thru damage, sorcs- fight thru it- and night blades go invisible. these are class defining traits.
a night blade shouldn't heal thru damage- they should cloak and duck out- thats what makes them night blades. they go freaking invisible. dont give them healing too.
that being said- cloak dosent work.5 -

I can tell you right now that 1.5k healing on our light and heavy attacks (that can't crit) isn't going to do the job.@ Izaki #PCEU

The only thing Stamblades were good at comparing to other classes was ganking and resource management. It's not the case anymore so i guess ppl don't complain about NBs cuz they gave up. Stamblades are practicly usless now. No sustain, no self healing, mediocre damage, seriusly nerfed stealth damage. Magblades are not much better really. ✭✭✭✭✭I renamed my stamblade to Derpy-Derp. Then I renamed my stam sorc with my stamblade's previous name. Even did a race change to make the stam sorc look like my stam blade.
Logged in, friends looked confused when they saw me, and I was like "what are you talking about? I've always been a sorc."
