I was reading Zenimax's article here:
http://www.elderscrollsonline.com/en-us/news/post/2017/04/13/warden-guide-skill-lines-and-abilities
After reading, I can't see any real benefit to going stamina over Magicka. Magicka morphs seem far superior with the exception of the major breach/ fracture off the Stam Shalk morph. Is there something I am missing? Why are the stamina morphs not giving any extra effects instead of simply converting to Stam? Is this on some form of balance due to the additional stamina skills/weapon lines? It's very confusing. For example blue Betty (Magicka morph) gives major sorcery and removes one negative effect, Bull netch (stamina morph) only applies major brutality and major sorcery. Dive is even worse. Magicka gets 15% increased damage to enemies at longer range while stamina gets nothing but a Stam conversion. I'm really not trying to complain, just trying to understand. Is it this way because it's easier to stack weapon damage than spell damage therefor stamina morphs will hit harder? Just looking for some insight in this if anyone has some.

Just my opinion, as a kind of counter-point, but I can imagine running some of these with Dual Wield and Bow. Some of the abilities work equally well with both Mag/Stam, but I'll just mention the ones I think benefit Stamina builds.
*** All of this is just based off the figures in the article, as I've not had a chance to play Warden yet, but if any of this stuff actually stacks, it might just be awesome...***
Animal Companions
Scorch > Subterranean Assault
'Stir a group of Shalk that attack after 3 seconds. Dealing Poison Damage to up to 6 enemies in an area 20x7 meters in front of you. Enemies damaged are afflicted with Major Breach and Major Fracture, reducing their Spell Resistance and Physical Resistance for 10 seconds. Costs Stamina instead of Magicka.'
Stick this on your DW bar to get all the benefits of Bow Poison morphs with high-crit melee and no bar-swap delay. Activate it, chug a WD potion, go Flurry/Whirlwind crazy...
Betty Netch > Bull Netch
'Call a Bull Netch that restores Stamina over 25 seconds. Grants Major Brutality, increasing weapon damage by 20% over 27 seconds, and Major Sorcery, increasing Spell Damage by 20% over 27 seconds. This ability has no cost.'
No cost, free Stam, +20% WD and no cost (did I mention that???). No Brainer. Definitely one for the back (Bow) bar (nice bump for the WD, plus start up the stam regen for when you switch to DW)
(Good passives on this line too)
Green Balance
Fungal Growth > Soothing Spores
'Seed a large area of mushrooms that heals you and six allies in your frontal cone with a 20-meter radius and 60-degree angle. If healing an ally less than 8m away, it is 15% stronger. Ability Scales off max Stamina and Weapon Damage. Costs Stamina instead of Magicka.'
HUGE potential heals based on base stats, gear and potions, and better benefits than the Magicka morph, which will only scale off base stats. Now your WD pots can help heal you, big time. Either bar (or both!)
(Literally not a single bad passive here either!)
Winter's Embrace
Frozen Gate > Frozen Device
'Summon an ancient portal up to 28 meters away with a 5-meter radius.. Enemies that run over it are teleported to you and rooted for 3 seconds. You can only have 1 portal at a time and it is removed upon activation. Teleported enemy is afflicted with Major Maim, reducing their damage by 30% for 4 seconds.'
A nice temporary snare and a (kind of) gap closer. It'd be nice to get crit out of this (like 'Trap Beast'), but combine it with Subterranean Assault and Flurry and I don't think you'll miss it too much.
Glacial Presence and Piercing Cold are probably the best two passives for Stam, from what I can see, as Chilled and Physical Damage boosts work better for Stamina builds, especially melee.
I don't see much benefit for Stam builds in the Ultimates though (although Feral Guardian > Wild Guardian will *likely* scale off physical damage)
Anyhoo, just my tuppence worth - be nice to get a chance to try this out myself, or get some feedback from somebody on the test server...

Thanks for the feedback bud. I see what your saying but can't magic line up the same burst combos too but then have the Extra effects from mag morphs. We will have to see how this plays out.

Thanks for the response, and yes, Mag can line up the same combos... and that's kind of my point - Mag or Stam, there really are no winners or losers with the Warden from what I can see. In fact the only ones losing out with the introduction of the Warden are... Templars!

Also swarm needs a stam morph. Why would a swarm of biting bugs not do physical or poison damage? It makes no sense
Why does a *** *** *** BEAR do MAGIC damage???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
Why do a swarm of god damn bees not do physical or poison damage?
That is my hope too, an decent ranged stamina dps is something lots has asked for.most of the skills for stam version pair up with bow and you can keep your distance, posion arrow/snipe into LA/dive produced some interesting results. need a way to unsummon the bear ultimate, didnt use any ice spells on the "stam-den"

Don't forget DKs lol
It's because there is no stam warden. There is magwarden and hybrid warden. The skills scream pick mag yet they give access to both major brutality and major sorcery from a single skill. As well as both minor regen buffs from another skill. Use mag morphs for warden with a bow or melee and the new hybrid sets.
Stamina Warden is very boring and one-dimensional imo. Throwing poison injection on a target and spamming Dive over and over again is not a fun playstyle at all.
What I am really looking to see is Fletcher Infection become a stamina morph. It would solve so many problems with the class.
Fun isn't exactly the same as effectiveA bow/bow warden might be fun, who knows?
The previous sentence appliesDid I already test it and like it very much? Who knows?
In PvP that bear is a bit of a joke and will never be better then DBoS? But who knows, right? Is that bear ultimate awesome and better than flawless dawnbreaker, rend and ballista? I think so, bit who knows?

Can you push 30k dps on a warden Bow/Bow Build easily? I think so, but who knows?
Did the Bear Ultimate simply out-DPS the others in single-target? Maybe, I'm rather positive about that.

30k dps, or even anything remotely close to that, is not competitive with top tier Mag builds. Particularly Mag Sorcs.

You can't compare it with current numbers, not at all. We'll still have to evaluate how the sustain nerfs turn out in the end.
