I would wait just a bit longer than just reading the final patch notes. You may want to try playing for a couple of days before a rage quit.

I have been testing, I'm not a fan. Next week I'll test again and every week until Morrowind is just about here, then decide.

That makes much more sense. You failed to mention (or I failed to read) where you were actually testing it.

I dislike the balancing as much as anyone, but it is way too early to be quitting for people that are quitting over the PTS. I want to see what the next two iterations look like. I think Templar are up the creek without a paddle(reverting the Templar changes would go against their direction entirely), but I can see them walking back some of the other changes. I expect Warden to get some nerfs,so that it isn't so obviously P2W.

FFS, the warden is not P2W. You're not going to instantly flawless clear vMA just because you're playing a warden. You're not going to instantly kill everyone in Cyrodil just because you're playing a warden. The warden doesn't shoot death rays from his eyes and nuclear missiles from his ass. He doesn't have a skeleton made out of adamantium. He does not have permanent invincibility. He does not have Molag Bal in leather straps with a gag ball in his mouth with tatoo across his forehead saying "I am Warden's **** and I like it!"

People who claim the Warden is P2W are people who have never played a real P2W game. Do you want real P2W? Try a game like World Of Tanks. You can literally buy the most powerful tank in the game with the most powerful ammo and upgrades from their shop.

I quit playing less than a week after installing ESO. I asked for a refund and was denied. Now I've got this 60gb turd stuck to the bottom of my shoe. It took less than a week to see how shallow and greedy the companies involved/ have become. However, my money was already spent and that's my own fault. I'll still check in every few months to see if the crown store has anything aside from regurgitated NPC assets. The music is about the only redeeming aspect of ESO to me.

List of things I personally cannot stand ( but people don't care what I think anyway ).
    - Classes are too few and set up like a low budget Arpg
    - Missing about 20 or so class possibilities from Elder Scrolls
    - Terrible Framerates despite watercooled over budget hardware ( cpu bound excuses in current year )
    - Crown Store for subbed patrons is awfully dull, filled with base game NPC assets. ( Zeni could learn from GGG about how to create NEW content for it's supporters, not recycled garbo )
    - Sometimes I can connect to THE ONLY SERVER in NA with a latency of 110+ ms ( eyes tearing up at the cost of my 160 megabyte per second connection. Yes megabytes and I pay 90% of what my neighbor pays for his Gigabit connection speeds, thanks to ISP zoning )
    - The sheer amount of unresolved bugs is astounding. Falling through the floor and walls, warping from hundreds of meters away while mounting, inactive synergy skills, getting stuck in dialog mode with a guard while he's killing you. So many more...

But there's a a plus side to ESO! The in-game community is quite a bit more friendly than many others I've interacted with. Probably the best out of 5 MMO's I've played in the last decade. Well anyway, I don't know much about this upcoming nerf patch and I honestly don't care anymore, except for Morrowind content and a new class to try out. I already quit playing, but that doesn't mean I'm not going to check in from time to time and see if this turd of a game has fertilized.

I played a MagTemp in PvP from console release and saw my class go from bottom feeder to as good as anyone but quit when I read the finalized Homestead patch note. I started reading the forum when this PTS went live hoping I'd see changes that made me want to return and found quite the opposite.

Considering it but not certain yet. I'm undecided whether I want to wait for Morrowind.

If I do decide to stop playing ESO, I may move on to Guild Wars 2.

I may move onto guild wars 2 if the direction continues in a negative way for now until pantheon comes or some others. But guild wars 2 is not that great in build diversity. Anyways I think we need to be patient though its to early to tell at this point.

    @NylesAdrean

I'll adress the relevent stuff and not the rampant Ad Hominem you keep doing. As is such with those who prefer to spew propaganda at those dreadfull wrongthinkers you hate so much.

People are allowed to voice their opinion. No matter how much you want to clamp your hands over their throats and strangle them to silence them, you cant. Attempting to do so through pressure only makes you look petty. I told you to grow up because grown ups, and in fact the enlightened mind, can entertain, or tollerate different opinions and points of view without agreeing with them.

People are also allowed to give criticism on the way out. As I have done. As many have done. People are also allowed to participate in discussion about a product they've stopped using, in the hopes of making it better. You dont hold a monopoly on relevence, and for the sake of every possible improvement this game ever has or will have or might have, I hope you never do.

I may not play this game anymore. But I want to see it get to a point where I want to play again. I want to be able to run through the quests again without hating what I'm playing. I will attempt, in my own sarcastic, broken-english way to provide what little relevent opinion and feedback I can. Because I want to see this game prosper.

To be actually be relvent, and touch upon what I said earlier, yes, we're able to just leave in absolute silence and do nothing else, to take our money and go, but does that benefit anyone? No, the designers dont know why we left and probably are not going to ask. Whether or not, it'll help ZOS, who seem to have a spotty track record of utilizing consumer feedback, is another discussion. But again, if we simply leave, we solve no problems, and cause at least one major problem.

Whether it be threads like this, attempting to get a handle on how many are leaving, in order to give -some- kind of context to the onlookers to make predictions or the multi-page constructive threads adressing the devs directly, all have a right, and reason, to exist. You do not get to destroy them because you disagree with them. It's all part of a larger puzzle, attempting to be constructed. Whether the devs actually look at the end result we cobble together, is their choice. As is my choice, to take my buisness elsewhere depending on that choice.

Nothing more needs to be said.

Sorry but your in the wrong here he has every right to say he is done and etc, your the one who decided to criticize for someone not adapting to what you think adapt to in the first place? I mean who are you to think you have a right to tell others what they should adapt to? He is adapting he is moving on and spending his time he feels is more worth his time.

Also your the one being more childish here its not an insult. You are literally being condescending because you did not like his opinion, your the one lashing out at him emotionally. And obviously you cared enough to respond the way you did. I do think he should wait and see the future patch notes but I am not going to insult him over it, it is his opinion and his time and he has way more right then you do to judge the value of his time.

I think about quitting a lot but that's down to playing solo which gets very boring, especially since I only do pve and I've already completed most of it so I'm just doing the same thing over and over. I will wait until Morrowind because I'm looking forward to exploring the new zone, afterwards I might give ESO a break and move onto something else

I feel like the game is best played every few months. The recent events have sucked me in quite a bit and I now find myself finishing off some achievements from past DLC. But afterward, I might go AWOL for a few months and wait for Morrowind to go on sale. I see myself playing all future DLC at some point, but it might be in bunches once a year.

Tired of putting in the work and having them do something to force me into reworking builds I spent nearly a year getting to what I would term perfect or near perfect. And it's not just ZOS. It's DDO, LotRO, SWtOR, etc etc etc. If they cant get it right before release, why release it at all? I've had enough. And I can only hope everyone else is as fed up as I am.

This is exactly what I'm talking about. You take the game too far and then whine and make the developers and everybody look bad. It was your decision that you've put so much time into "perfecting" something. You didn't have to, you CHOSE to. So don't blame the devs for changing THEIR PRODUCT as THEY SEE FIT.

    [Edit to remove insulting content]

I have to agree with this. I can't stand all the rebalancing nonsense people ask for and ZOS does, but it doesn't turn me off the game. I just don't bother min/maxing. I play more leisurely. I might even take a month off. It is annoying when I return and I'm booted from all my trade guilds, but there are always others.

That's *** stupid. A dog is one of the most loyal animals in the world, but you can only kick it so many times before it will round on you. Loyalty is a two way street. Yeah, I mean I quit back in 1.6 and came back because I heard really good things since a patch or two ago. Really enjoyed the past two or three months...

Unfortunately, I'm just afraid they're going to do the same thing they did with 1.6 and throw out feedback from long-time players and not doing anything for months.... So I dropped my sub until they change some of these nerfs (See: "Mistakes").

It is clear to me that you're not anywhere near being "grown up" if you're able to set yourself up in only few short sentences. Then again majority of people aren't even capable of comprehending such simple things. Nice try.

But who am I kidding. Nothing's going to change anyway :)

And again... You tell me who am I to think I have the right to tell others what they should adopt to... Yet you and more are telling others what they should do too. Including the developers which is just ridiculous. I'm done with this conversation. People don't even understand their own stuff, not surprised that they completely ignore mine.

Oh i completely understand now. As long as i provide feedback and posts filled with opinions and requirements that perfectly align with yours I can go ahead no problem. Because that's how this entire hypocritical forum fight looks like to me.

People posting their opinions and writing down their feelings, yet when there's someone YOU people don't agree with it requires a guanostorm of essays and explanantions and justifications and reasonsings, as well as attempts at education. That's pretty much your last 2 posts in a nutshell. Like I said. I'm done with this thread. There is no point and you'll always be right in your own way along with others. Therefore I'll be a much wiser man and take my leave, so that I can keep my sanity and happiness intact the way it was.

My initial point still stands. Absolutely no reason to hate the game as of now, there is no hard solid evidence yet, there is not enough testing and won't be for weeks to come. You can't change that fact as much as you hate it.

Not really. Not being a hardcore gamer that is on several hours a day, I don't burn through content. I just finished Cadwell's gold 2 weeks ago and I started at console launch.

It became P2W, in my mind, the moment they removed a buff from one class and transferred it to the Warden class. It says to Templar that they need to buy Warden if they want easy access to that buff.

There are degrees of P2W. There are certainly games that are much more P2W than ESO, but what they've done with the Warden class definitely qualifies as some degree of P2W.
