That would mean you are now forced to run a resto staff if your a solo player in pvp.
Templars dont have mobility or a class shield but use to have a heal. Now if we want major mending we lose out of the 5-5-2 armor combo.
Do they not realize that those unkillable tanks in cyrodil are now gonna be more unkillable

Nothing will change there I agree. if you don't have sustain you build for burst or longevity.
Templars still have channeled focus. I'm surprised they didn't remove the regen from that to be honest.
You know that if you run within 28m of a warden even that skill is now redundant except for the regen.
One whole slot to get 8 seconds of regen unless you want to stand still for eternity.
Frost cloak.
Wrap a thick cloak of ice around you and nearby allies within a 28-meter radius. 6 targets gain Major Resolve, increasing Physical Resistance, and Major Ward, increasing Spell Resistance for 24 seconds.

As i keep saying. It was never about the heals. Its entirely about losing utility.
Soo thank you for posting a thread where gina says that templars will still have strong heals. Thats nice.
Templars were the best healers because they offered utility to the group. As i previously stated templars passives are laughable when it comed to sustains, compared to every other class, but we had a few skills that made up for our infereior passives by offering utility to the group.

So, you are saying, Templar should be the only class that can provide group support? It's the reason Templars are de facto healers right now and no one else even has a chance to compete with Templar healers in vet Trials. It's down right toxic for the game if we keep things that way. Healer's job is to heal and provide group support. Nightblade, Sorc and DK healers have not even a slight chance to compete with a Templar for healer spot in a raid, while Templars have all the chance they need to compete with other spots for a DD spot in a raid, in PvP a good Magplar never lose a fight in 1v1 duel, they can also compete with a DK for a tank spot in raids (while DKs clearly have the upperhand, Templar tanks can at least compete with them), they are as good as DK in 4-man content, they are arguably the best tank in PvP.
So, you are saying, we shouldn't give other classes a chance to compete with Templar for a healer spot (by giving them a way to support the group with resources), while we should keep Templar a more than viable choice in tanking and DPSing? What is this? Templar will still be the stronger class in healing: an AOE Minor Magickasteal, a nice burst heal to the group, a nice AOE HOT with high uptime that can cleanse harmful effect, Backlash which is a skill that boosts the group DPS, Minor Sorcery to the group, Shard will perform better than Orb, their SPC's uptime will be the highest etc It's just that other classes now can at least compete with Templar for the healer spot.

No what i am saying is because templars passives are laughingly inferior to every other class, when it comes to resource management, and since we have to waste a precious skill spot specifically for resource management that the trade off should still remain that templars also bring group utility.
Templars have an entire skill tree dedicated to healing. Why wouldnt we be the best healers??
And guess what that entire skill tree is almost outshined by every other classes passives.
Rushed ceremony is a strong heal but every class can heal
Healing ritual will always be situational
Magicka steal is amazing but it was always less than repentance because repentance was universally great. Stamina is still priority. Now repentance is just a slotable passive. Yeah no thanks.
Ritual is a great cleanse and much better than than purge. Ill conceede this skill
Rune is another situational skill. I would rather have a passive for resource management than this skill.
I am totally cool with templars getting some resource management passives and a different identifying skill tree.

You are going to hate me for what I'm about to say but yes I am a lazy gamer. In every mmorpg I have ever played I have always started my first character on a healer. Because every mmo knows that if you run a trinity setup no one will get a party unless a healer shows. And every mmo knows that it slows everyone else down if the healer does not show. So every mmo makes the healer class THE EASIEST TO PLAY. Even Final Fantasy that screws your nine ways to sundray knows this and acts accordingly. But not zos. I started this game on a Templar and REGRETTED IT cause it's *** hard to play. Only game in the universe that makes their healer class hard.
You are going to hate me even more for this next bit but there is no point in having many skills you can get in a game when you are FORCED TO USE BUILDS so only a select few skills are the right skills. The undaunted, mage guild, fighters guild is useless role play crap. *** builds. *** online research. *** making a game something I have to study and cannot relax and get away from my studies. *** having to look up someone else's work and copy and paste it over to myself. *** THE HELL OUT OF *** BUILDS.
Is Warden a healer class really? How much you wanna bet it will be hard to play.
Healers are suppose to be the easy class for those who DO NOT LIKE CHALLENGE. Yeah people like me who are lazy. If you want challenge and that is what you crave the tank is usually the hardest class with the greatest responsibilities. I mean in most mmo's. Not here. That way you can choose, "do I want an easy role to play or a hard role?"
But the word "balance" must translate to "make it hard for everyone" here.
*** builds.

To be clear I am not overly happy with the changes, but I am also waiting to see what happens from here. As others wiser than me have said we're on day four of the patch notes and I am sure ZOS has seen the feedback.
I will reserve my rage until the Morrowind patch notes for live go up, as that's when this is final and rational debate is no longer an option.
I defend ZOS only in attempts to slap people in the face and tell them to stap out of it and get working on some credible arguments.
