I've been in that guild since 2014. They're my friends. Now they're scared ZOS is going to pull their ESO accounts if they even mention the beta around me.
Well, it's not like you're gonna blab about what you hear to zone chat and make a YT vid called "Yo my peeps are in Morrowind Beta, here's da 411, fam!"
Right?
Clearly an overreaction on their part.
Of course not. Like I said, I'm not even that interested in it. But when I showed up on Teamspeak today, suddenly it was like "Did you get a beta invite?" "uh, no" "Sorry there is an NDA we all had to agree to, sooooo you gotta go..."
Hell, I didn't even know what an NDA was when they told me.
I was apparently the only one in my guild who didn't get a beta invite. And because the Beta NDA means they can't talk about the game around me, they decided to kick me out.
Thanks a lot, ZOS. I have been in that guild since 2014. Now they're treating me like a leper because you just HAD to make it a closed beta instead of an open one like usual.

It's ZOS's fault for making it a closed beta instead of an open one and imposing an NDA. Now those of us who didn't get an invite are now persona non grata, even in our own guilds.
I'd find a new guild. They sound like jerks TBH.
Maybe his guild was one of the top guilds in ESO. With a 6 month waiting list.
People wait 6 months to join a guild? Really?
Noooo don't be silly.
8 months, actually. We're very exclusive.
Wait, resubmit application?
Lol.
Get new friends. Seriously.

Once all Beta testing is complete we will re-invite you, but you must also resubmit a guild application.
Thanks

Maybe they wanted a selection of people who would test and give good feedback rather than the mass rage and tears we currently see on the forums?Doctordarkspawn wrote: »I'ma go ahed and be the devils advocate and say this is ZOS's fault. No reason for a NDA. No reason for this exclusion.
They could make a separate channel and just talk in there. I mean they already broke NDA by telling him they were in beta as a reason for kicking him.lunalitetempler wrote: »They obviously don't want to get their account banned, its probably nothing personal.

The guild wouldn't get canned, but those players within it who are discussing the beta can have their invites revoked....was probably in fear, just in case they thought that whole guild would get canned by ZOS for breaking the NDA.
