Pretty sure them nerfing Templar heals is part of their marketing scheme to make more people see warden as a viable option.

You do understand that the changes to Orbs will make non templar healers very strong now right? Outside of stamina resource utility, the other 3 classes had matched healing output to the templar.

ZOS mentioned it by their own back in 2014, that there will be 4 classes in game, also, while you can play with any class for any role, each of them will be effective in different manner: Templars better healers, DKs better tanks, NBs better rogues, Sorcs better mages.

No. I wouldn't be upset with that. But then again, when that happens do you think this game is still diverse? And that is my point, there was a reason these skills are in a Templar kit and not in any other class. that's what makes this game diverse, and that's what make the Templar class the best class for healing... SO yeah, to answer your question, no I wouldn't be upset, but I am asking you, do you think what you are suggesting would be fun, just because you want to heal on your sorc?

Please answer my question. You never answered this. Do you think every class should have the same skill kit, just so you as a sorc healer could be viable for healing too?

Is that what diversity is to you? All classes should have the same skill set, so that they can all be viable heals, dps and tank?

Why are you stuck on this? The classes do not have the same kits. They each function differently and achieve whatever end result they are going for in different ways. This has not changed. Nothing is being homogenized so your question is a bit redundant but to humor your hyperbole, yes every class with the exact same tool kit would make for a terrible mmo, which is why its fortunate we have never been and are not now, and never will be in that position in this game. Diversity is providing ciritical tools to each class so that they can properly perform in a given role adequately / uniquely while maintaining class identity and theme. A nightblade or DK healer for example is NEVER going to heal entirely the same way a templar is. You talk about diversity yet surely you realize that springs and combat prayer are KEY healing tools for vtrials, which is available to everyone. You talk about diversity when nearly every stamina dps ability loadout is identical. No matter your magicak dps class, if you are not slotting ele blockade you are doing it wrong. But adding stamina resource replenishment to anyone outside of templar is crossing the line?

Honestly at this point it doesnt matter, ZOS has made it very clear what their stance is on this matter, that upsets you. You believe this is some under the hood plot to sell more copies of morrowind which is frankly ridiculous. All 4 classes have always been at some point in the games run, viable DPS in trial groups and no one batted an eye. Stam DK pve dps for example was incredibly strong not too long, by your logic that is unacceptable because DKs are "designed" to be the best tank. Mirroring that example, templars should never be viable at DPS in vtrials? The developers of this game disagree with you. This thread was a thank you for them finally establishing their stance on the matter.
